Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA

Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.

There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. The chicks will continue to grow in the nest for about three to four weeks before fledging. More information about the cams, set-up or to make a donation please visit alyssasnaturesanctuary.org.

Another lovely Spring day in the middle of winter, sunny & 73 🌞 Up early to get laundry done; loaded the car for trip to recycling. Picked up lunch from Sonic and yes, the order was wrong again, for the 4x. And this was a different Sonic; starting to think it’s not the individual store, but endemic to Every Single One of them; or maybe it’s just me 🤔 Watched the Colorado Avalanche/hockey team beat the Blackhawks, watched a couple movies, chatted with a friend, took a nap — now it’s after 9pm! Where did the day go???? I see… Read more »

Hi Pam. That’s about right with the socks!! 😂 I do wonder where they all are. Really, where can they all possibly be? I hope my monster is nice looking! 😁 💕
Glad you had a nice day. As far as Sonic goes, it’s not just them. I have the same exact problem with Taco Bell. They never get it right, and I mean never. 😰

🤣😂. Oh, I wanted to tell you, the shrunk/schraunk/thing 😊 that my mom brought home from Germany was more of a cabinet for dishes or keepsake type things. It wasn’t an armoire.

I have a front-loading washer, i had a sock stuck in the big rubber seal of the door. Almost didnt see it, it was well hidden in there.
I had just asked my dh, he said that a washer normally cant “eat” things. The discharge hose is much too thin for stuff bigger than lint to go thru. Cant go thru. They maybe fell down somewhere ,maybe behind or under the washer ? Or still attached inside to the washing machine drum ? 👙

Good sunday to you !😘

Good grief Pam. Where did the day go? It sounds like about 3 days to me! 😳. You jammed an awfully lot into a day. Do you make a hard to follow special order at Sonic, or are they a bunch of kids who don’t pay attention? I’m suspecting the latter. What is your fav there? Yep, we got a new sword swallower.

I noticed from looking at the video from today that he was slow getting to the nest this morning. She had to really call him and then go out and get him before they got together and he came to the nest. I believe he is on special guard for some reason. I am so praying that he is okay. I forgot to thank you for passing this on, Debbie.
