Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. Yes it is, the snow was melting on the pavement but by the time I got back here had to shovel a couple of inches from the side walk and now its sticking to the street, glad I shoveled if this keeps up I will have to go out and do it again
Just got back inside went for a walk got back and shoveled nice big flakes coming down its great out there😍

But if your walking and moving you creat body heat, shoveling I started sweating, 91 is darn hot

Yikes, well yesterday a got a taste of tropical heat and it was nice, but I still prefer cooler weather, because you can always get warm its harder to cool down even with a fan
