Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. Good morning Bella Buds. I’m doing good today so I hope to be productive. I usually don’t have two days in a row. Maybe it will become a trend! I’m still doing this and that. Maybe I’ll try to do more this today instead of that. Nice outside, 74. Daffodils are blooming and so is a bushy tree in the back. It is always the last to lose its leaves in the Fall and first to get them back in the spring. Y’all have a good day.

oh and it’s Friday fish day…I’m going to suggest takeout from the VFW but actually doesn’t matter to me…if he wants to go to the same restaurant as last week or a different place for takeout, that’s ok too. One thing about the VFW is you can get shrimp if you want instead or add it to your fish meal…and sometimes they have baked potatoes if they haven’t run out yet.
Good morning Lynn. Sounds like good plans for today. I haven’t heard of any special fish fry around here, like with a club, school booster, club or church. These are the kind of things we refer to as “fish fry”. Arby’s has fish sandwiches now, but it is an annual thing. Other restaurants have their usual, year ‘round fish. We don’t refer to it as “fish fry” if it is regularly a menu item.
I used to think it was everywhere. I don’t call it that either if it’s a regular item. We’ve tried fish sandwiches at several fast food places, DH likes McD’s the best so that’s why we went there last night..I got a shamrock shake also but they are expensive. I do like the special at Arby’s good deal…my mom likes it too and has the second one the next day.
Fish fry is a meal here served tavern style=supper club style a fish sandwich is just that a fish sandwich

Good morning ladies. I just made some granola with pepitas sunflower seeds and slivered almonds that David made And brought with him when was in California. He let me taste it and it was very good. We’re going to go to Culver’s for their fish fry for lunch today and we might go to the Sam’s Club and Lowe’s and Home Depot.

Hi Ardy…when you say fish fry, does that mean they are having like a special and they call it fish fry? just wondered, ours has fish every day …usually I get their tenders and sometimes the flavor of the day.
Its what its called yes they have it every day, Culvers is a Wisconsin based restaurant, they have fish fry on their menu and Wisconsin cheese curds😋
we have Culvers here in my town but we don’t call it fish fry, just a fish sandwich or fish dinner, that’s why I wondered

one of our favorite vendors makes homemade granola, several different flavors…I think I’d add it to plain Greek yogurt and also add blueberries.

Good Morning Bellas, its a weather event day and night for me storms coming this morning and another round tonight. This is what’s coming now. I’m just going to hunker down today. Don’t need to go anywhere. I hate night time storms,, the ones tonight wind hail, flooding possible Tornados this is around 9-10pm

We are getting everything as the day goes on, the flooding is caused because the ground is still frozen and the water just pools, but the rain will help melt it, I will be storm chasing tonight to keep track of what’s going on
