Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. She was one of the mama goats on the goat cam. They names her Moo necause her coloring looked like a Jersey cow. She was a favorite goat and she died.

Our weather is insane; i’m embarrassed to say how beautiful it’s been these past several days; sunny and upper 60s/lower 70s. Lunch was everything it was cracked up to be. Nothing like a food truck 😋 They only serve 3 large Atlantic fried Cod with fries. I added a cup of Cole slaw which was better than expected. After placing the order, the wait was about 30-35 mins, no ‘heat lamp’ keeping the fries warm, that’s for sure. Geez it was good.

Geez, we have had a lot of weather warnings this year! Maybe after all the experienced meteorologists were canned or quit at the start of the term. 🤔 maybe the same for airplane probs/crashes. So frustrating!
