Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. Good morning…think it’s going to be in the 40s today…Debbie, yes I got home later because I had to feed the geckos at night..guess for me I don’t see the thrill of having them, lol…you never see them during the day (you might see them hiding under something) and once a week they come out when you feed them and that was not fun for me..actually DH did most of it…I couldn’t get the worms on the big spoon to put in the little container they eat out of…so he just picked them up!!! no, he smells them on me every day and I’m around mine more so wouldn’t be that, he likes me. Just something about him or the way he looks, we think..cats usually like DH
My goodness, Lynn. I don’t know too much about geckos. It seems like they would be really easy to babysit though. 🤣 Except for the worm part. I wonder if they make them prepackaged? Cut open the top of the container and just pour them in. Taco Bell sounds good to me also. 🤗

Good morning Lynn. I’m not right very often, but I guess I was right about feeding the geckos. Yuk. I’m glad your husband came to help. Are the worms live or freeze dried. I’m with you, don’t understand why anyone would want them. Maybe they come out more often for their parents. At least it is over, will you need to feed them again before the job is over? So they don’t like white people, are the owners black?
Most Geckos are nocturnal, with a few species that are out during the day.If nocturnal they sleep during the day

They are cute but if you are not nocturnal seems you aren’t going to see them very often.

live worms…they are nocturnal so they probably don’t see them much, either. I’m done feeding them. The DH is black. I don’t know why the cat acted like that, pretty strange, cats love DH
You never know. Casey was terrified of men when we first got him, especially of a man was wearing a ball cap. He would do this yelp and try to fly away. We were told Casey was bred by a breeder in Florida. We were vacationing down there and actually visited the breeder. She had a lot of aviaries, best I remember mostly outdoors. You know how cats are…….We had a friend that came over years ago with his friend and Nikki three stood in the doorway of the kitchen and growled.
We have geckos here and they are small. I didnt know people had them for pets….ours are outside on the wild.
I had a pet Leopard Gecko, he was yellow with brown spots very pretty almond shaped eyes they are cute, what color are yours Ardyth?

Morning, Julie…the farm store has cheese popcorn and ranch popcorn…good but my favorite is caramel cheese and the best is at the Christmas fair.

Oh interesting pop corn you can get, for me the Carmel and cheese is in the same bag so the cheese gets on the Carmel corn . Its the sweet salty combo that’s so good😋
They are hard not to eat a lot there’s nothing to them, I love them with a DPepsi or Rootbeer😋
I gave up pop/soda but once in awhile have a rootbeer float or shake in the summer, yummy
I don’t drink it that often actually rarely, I’m big on drinking water
I drink that too, I keep a bottle or two of water in the fridge or freezer, and I drink it all day. I find myself sometimes racing to the refrigerator and then downing half a bottle. I think I drink one or two liters of water a day. I know that might sound like too much, but I don’t seem to have any problems from it. My lymphedema is caused from something else, they just can’t figure it out.

I keep a plastic bottle of Coke in refrigerator or freezer at all times. Just so I can open it up and drink a sip or two, really cold, every now and then.

Or do you really hold back a lot 🙁? I think our bodies prefer it when we eat more often. I can’t get it right, either. 🤔
I think it’s best to eat less often, so your blood sugar doesn’t keep getting raised high over and over..learned that from the videos and research that DH did
