Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA

Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.

There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. The chicks will continue to grow in the nest for about three to four weeks before fledging. More information about the cams, set-up or to make a donation please visit alyssasnaturesanctuary.org.

Good afternoon BellaFam 💖
Woke to very dark skies; been like that all day, lightly raining off and on 🌧🌧
Didn’t get much done; not that that’s unusual.
Chuck says thank you for all the nice birthday wishes.

Hello! I didnt do much today. Thunder showers during the night and rained off and on all day.
So I didnt walk. I did apply my nails and the usual things like feeding the birds, pets, washed a load of clothes and watched soaps.
Rick is making cornflake chicken, twice baked potatoes and cooked spinach for supper tonight.

Ardyth, glad your weather wasn’t like western Phoenix; it was SNOWING yesterday; and not just a few flakes, some serious snowfall occurred — mind boggling

I got my shower too. 🌹. I have oily skin which helps but my skin (not face) can get dry. You need to get a little table humidifier. It would help a lot.

I did some reading. Liz and sister Mary were on the outs for some years over same sex marriage. Mary is gay and married to a woman. They maintained sisterly love and affection just had a problem with this issue. In 2021 Liz was on 60 Minutes and said publicly I think for the first time that she was wrong about same sex marriage.

I didn’t know any of this, I have no problem with same sex marriage- I have had two male friends get married to each other and stood up for the wedding of to woman friends for their wedding. Both these weddings were beautiful and filled with love😘I was honored to stand up for one of them
