Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. Really strong wind right now and the frozen chunks of ice are getting knocked off the branches of the trees and hitting the windows and roof on the windows it sounds like someone is throwing rocks the roof sounds like thuds

I was watching live on CNN this afternoon, Oscars were on regular TV when I came back upstairs from making dinner. I didn’t notice the time? I like watching the red carpet event and the interviews the best, spend time talking about the dresses and so on also talk to the actors and actresses, You get to see all the dresses not just the winners
Hello………….I went to early church and Walmart. I put things away and went to Macys. I bought two white capris and one black pair.
I bought three tops…..thinking ahead to MN. Rick is grilling ribs.

Howdy-do BellaFam 💖 It was 82 yesterday, and got all the way to a whopping 35 today; the wind wasn’t particularly friendly either. 😟 It was very warm when i went to bed last night, had to remove the comforter and open both windows to get a cross breeze. When getting up at 4.30a, had to put said comforter back on and shut 1 window; it had dropped 13 degrees, from 68 to 55; naturally resulting in a very sound sleep til almost 9a 🙄 I do likes me a cold sleeping room.😉 Colorado is looking to restrict water usage for this summer;… Read more »

Good you have cross ventilation in your room. You had a big temp drop, we have similar coming I’m just not sure when. Oh dear I wouldn’t like restricting water, it has been a long time and I think very short lived. I think it was not really because of drought, more because they had to lower the lake level to repair the dam. Maybe you will get a rainy spring.

Hi Pam, I guess they really have to do something about the water, I do try to watch all the water I use, like washing laundry every 2 weeks its pretty easy to conserve water not flushing the toilet everytime you pee all these little steps add up and wastes less water-laundry is a big thing and uses alot of water. 😂funny toon
