Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. Hi Pam, Jo is good friends with the lady at recycling. I like the commercials where the guest criticizes the Fresh Pet dog food in the fridge so the dog owner puts the guest OUT!
You keep dog food (cat) in your refrigerator? yep and out you go😂 there was a cashier at Walgreens for a bit that would put my cat food in a separate bag and wouldn’t put it in the bag with other things I had got. I told her not to do it, its just cat food and its sealed. I would think of that commercial😂

Good evening…we went to work on my mom’s furnace (well, DH did)..he had to get a part and it’s working fine now. We were gone a few hours, walked the dogs and also I went for a walk, was dressed warm and it was such a nice walk. DH left for his rentals and I’m doing laundry now..oh and we got the best breakfast sandwiches at a little cafe today, really the best I ever had. Hi Ardy, yes guess you have to be to be a landlord. and he’ll just charge her for the part, although she gives a little extra to him for his work and time. Our house is always chilly, it seems…even in the summer, it seems warmer outside some days. I wish it was warm enough to sleep on a lawn chair outside here!

Howdy Lynn,I was only outside once to day, kept hearing a dog crying down the street so I went and checked it out, it was the neighbors Huskeywho had is nose in a 4 inch crack in the window and he was howling away, I talked to him told him its OK and Mom would be home soon, I haven’t heard him howl again,maybe Mom’s home or he just needed a little pep talk😍 there’s nothing like a good biscuit😋
aw, poor husky…yes, I thought it would be the usual kind, like at McD’s but they were bigger and really good.
I just told him he was a good boy, I could see his tail wagging, he didn’t bark at me. I have met him before. You had the real biscuit, I’m not a big biscuit fan as I have had so many bad ones😂
Mom got her furnace fixed a visit with her daughter. Little cafe’s are the best.

my Coffee and wash Macie’s bowls first thing, 2nd cup of coffee and make Casey’s treat around 9:45, around 11 Casey’s breakfast and get him up, around 1 go get stuff out of the garage for inside, about 2 my lunch, somewhat later I cooked a ham steak, just now I prepare both russet and sweet potatoes for baking and cut off some bad spots on the sweet one. I didn’t see my mom …it was at the house where we have get togethers. and I’m glad no one came around, makes it very difficult for DH, they keep annoying him…asking questions and making comments and I would want to scream! He needs to be left alone to concentrate…

Good afternoon, I’ve been kind of busy this morning like always. I made scotcharoo bars for tomorrow’s get together. It makes my heart feel good to see Roger laying up there, all content with good fur, because I remember him as a stray. I know he wanted a family and in his own little cat way, knows he is lucky. The bars will be a hit. Michi looks mad that something dared to fall oh her highness! Unusual mushroom.

I’m glad it didn’t work. There is something deeply felt and fulfilling when you know you have truly rescued a little cat. Turned their life around. From hunger pains to a pain in the a** sometimes.
We had Black Devil at the time and we had Michi I believe and Nikki so I really didn’t want another cat it was just too much. But Black Devil ended up getting sick and we had to put him down and then somebody had Roger fixed so I guess it worked out the way it was supposed to work out
