Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. Good afternoon. I went for a short walk this morning. My sister came over and got a haircut and stayed a little while to visit. It’s another warm day right now it’s 94°. I ordered these fish chimes and they came today so I hung them up on the patio. Then of course I noticed that all the decorations that I have hanging on the patio are all covered in dirt. I probably take everything down and wash them twice a year I don’t think I know anybody that washes their hanging ornaments on the patio do you?

Thank you Julie. My new friend that I met at the last concert Wendy had posted on Facebook and she had these fish and since she’s from Maine I said oh I bet you bought the fish in Maine, and she said Temu. So I found them on timu and ordered them I love them too
I googled Temu never heard of them. Looks like they have about everything.
It’s a Chinese company and a lot of people don’t like it and don’t want you to order from them but it’s too late because I have ordered from them for a couple of years so they already have my information and nothing bad has happened to me. I have ordered clothes from them and most of their clothes are made from polyester and they don’t fit but they’ve been very good they give me my money back and tell me not to send the clothes back

I have ordered from Chinese companies for years. I always got what I asked for. They are becoming a world leader in providing services and supplies. I don’t order software, etc , though.

My porch in Phoenix looked just like your patio 😄 it was an alcove between the garage and front door, so well-protected from the wind/haboobs.

Not hanging stuff but I wipe off the outside of pots that I put plants in. The hanging stuff I can’t see if they are dirty I can’t see that far😂
It wasn’t the plan for today but I was hanging the fish and then I saw everything was Dusty I probably don’t know of anybody that takes her hanging stuff down but I like to have them clean although Rick was like don’t fall down and break your neck

Yes, and they are so beautiful! I had a bush that grew plate-sized flower/blooms. It was amazing!
I know they use them to make leis in Hawaii, but I don’t know about hummer nectar.

Rick gave good advise. It isn’t quite a year since you broke your wrist. Keep that in mind, it will make you more careful.
I take stuff down and put things away for the winter
some years I do take down the chimes on my screen porch and wash them..and I wipe down or hose down porch and outside furniture, gets dirty and dusty over the winter
The fish are cute, do they make any kind of sound when the wind em. You have a lot of things to clean. Are any of them strong enough, stable enough to hose off? That will be a lot of work to clean but I DO know you! It is going to be done. 😁
Good afternoon…it’s been really warm but the wind just picked up and a bit cooler…might get some rain or a storm later. I walked Bane with the other dog walker and just now my mom was here, I had found a button for one of her shirts that needs one…going to catch up here and then maybe have some leftovers.

yes, it’s only because she broke her hip…my brother talked her into stopping, I think..her Dr told her she can do whatever she wants

Julie: Injured hawk
Its in front of the green trash can the man who lives there is calling for help for this bird. I got this close to it as it did’t fly away. It tried to fly but couldn’t
I know its one of my hawks, heard him calling the other day and didn’t hear it once yesterday😪
