Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. No if it was spiced rum it would be Captain Morgan and it would be colored not white

Wow Karen how special is that! I can’t imagine why she was riding a horse down town, but the horse must be acclimated to this. There wasn’t an Easter parade was there? Or if one is coming up, maybe she was trying to get the horse used to down town.
No, no Easter parade or anything that I could tell. I did see her a few minutes later at a different intersection. I don’t know where she was going or what she was up to. If they hadn’t been so much traffic, I would have stopped and asked lots of questions. Just an ordinary looking horse, not extra pretty or anything. She was in jeans and a t-shirt.
