Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. I had a chef salad for lunch and my dressing was better than Kraft! I had a “garbage” salad as Julie says. Lettuce, tomato, cucumber, green onion, bell pepper, carrot, ham, egg. The real calories were the egg and ham. All the veggies and the dressing have few calories. It was really good!

Good afternoon….my sister and I went out for a bit while our mom was at lunch…went to a couple little shops and then the coffee shop…got a decaf pistachio latte and egg/cheese biscuit sandwich…used up my gift card. She’s back at our mom’s. I’m hearing thunder, not sure if it will come here or pass by but there is a chance of storms for awhile.

yes, my mom goes about every day. She didn’t say if she got more rest. she doesn’t sleep well sometimes. I guess we are all tired a lot of the time..me, her, DH, lol
