Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. Good morning….I’ve been thinking about this…decided I want to start running! I’ll have DS be my personal coach (he does that, even remotely)…there’s a big race here coming up in May. Have a good day…still not sure when my sister is leaving, she’s not either…taking it a day at a time…rain this morning and tonight…windy in the afternoon…more rain tomorrow, ugh…

My sister and mom are getting ice cream at Culver’s…then she’ll come here..so I guess it’s dessert first! My mom has a couple coupons for free scoops…she asked me if I wanted to go but I am full. Anyway, going to feed the dogs in a bit and DH will be leaving.
