Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. I’m back made phone calls, I called my Dad and wished him a good morning,we talked a half hour. Then it was time to call my Mom. I miss them so much💖 the snow is still melting up north

Weak, fragile, but he just kept talking😘 they asked him to drink more water, he drinks a lot of water anyhow, but drinking more has made his urine look better and clear, so its good to hear an improvement. They also have him sitting up and also in a wheel chair. PT everyday
All of that sounds good. You can get weak and fragile just from being in a nursing home. Were his thought processes improved?

Early evening here, cool and cloudy. Yesterday it was sunny and warm. But our trees are close to having all the leaves. Such a nice green outside. Flowers bloom, too. 🌷.

Good evening Gabi, hope you have had a good Sunday. I sure love spring. I have a window open! There is a cluster of wild daffodils blooming. I haven’t seen a hummingbird yet but I’ve been watching. I guess it is about your supper time now, then some couch time with hubby.
So nice, when you can have open windows without any…well, you know, …stinky smells. I had mine open today, too, but only for like 10 min .
Then stinky came up, because window was opened under me.
Oh boy, i always mention the same old stuff, sorry.

Gabi that is great! 14 pounds is a lot for you because you were never big. You have done good. Yes, I thought about your stinky problem when I commented on my window open. I’m sorry you have to live under these circumstances. I wish you could move to a better circumstance. Maybe some day you can live where the smells are of nature. I know how smells of different food cultures can be. Some of my international friends had very strong smelling cooking foods. I’m off to get a shower.
It will be better one day, then no more stinky. I hope.

Good morning Sunshine. If you are muggy I suppose it will be worse when it warms up. But then again, maybe it is because it rained. Bet you spend time outside with Jade. Did you take care of the finch nest?
I will get outside today, and get Jade outside. I’m just leaving the nest for now. She is just building it,the wind keeps on blowing the nest material off the light-so just letting nature take its course. She might build else where on her own. The nest she’s building isn’t very good, not like a robins nest. Its just grass and tiny sticks laying there on top, then the wind blows it off

I’m not so sure he’s going to sell all the t-shirts that he bought from me because he thought they were cool. I think he might even wear them. I don’t know it doesn’t matter. I always prepare early. Debbie LOL. As soon as I made my plane reservation, Jo-Ann says you can start working on your list while little did she know I’d already started working on my list. Yes kind of made me mad that we took all the albums down blah blah blah. But the good thing is I got to look at all of them. I got to take pictures of them and now I don’t care if I ever see them again
