Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. Good morning….it’s kind of dark in the living room but I don’t turn lights on, just like to open the curtains, blinds, etc..I woke up during the night and couldn’t get back to sleep so I read for awhile…when i got up of course I felt so tired….drinking coffee now and it’s helping. I always say I don’t want to dress like an old lady, but at my age I don’t want to dress like a young girl either so I try to find a happy medium. I do wear knit shorts and t-shirts that match at home in the summer because you know it’s ungodly hot here
You should wear what you like, what makes you happy. There is no such thing as old lady clothes.
I wear old lady clothes, I have hand me downs from my Mom😂 I say wear what is comfortable for you

Good Morning Lynn😘you have been helping collecting things for Uganda for a while💖 and it does get cold in Africa, in the 30’s is cold. Goodwill is expensive. But they help a lot of people too. I just think the clothes could cost less
I don’t shop at Goodwill but I suspect they need money to support the charities that don’t involve just clothes. So they price their clothes that average income people get a bargain over the cost of those items in a regular store, but they still make enough money for the charities. I think if a person goes in a store and talks to an employee about their need, they can get things for free.
I know that and you can get vouchers, but the cost of the clothes is high $15.00 for a pair of jeans is a lot say when your shopping for a family
a lot of people don’t like it because of the CEO, the prices, and they don’t help the local needy as much, I guess
Good morning Lynn. It is good you work hard to collect and donate to those organizations that help those in need. I don’t really think there is such a thing as old lady clothes. It is all about what you like and feel comfortable in and makes you look as you want to look.

I’m sorry about your husband Gabi. But I think he is a good man? But his quiet habit makes you lonely? A lot of men don’t want to share thoughts and emotions, sort of their nature. But he takes it to the extreme sounds like.
He is a good man, but he has this problem. When we have a misunderstanding or similar, then he NEVER makes the first step to be good again. Never. It always has to be me or he isnt saying a single word for days. Some people feel lonely when they are alone, i dont. But i feel lonely WITH him, when he is so weird.

Yes, nice idea. He is not a bad person, he helps when needed, even though i really hardly need help. So far i am the organizer with everything. He does guy-things, like some work in the apartment before we moved here . He helped DD painting, plus he still has his job. Gabi I am so sorry you have this problem. I am not married so maybe I don’t know, but I think this is a common problem in male/female relationships. You hear a lot of jokes about this. Sitcoms on tv mention it a lot in funny ways. I can remember a lot of comedy sketches and shows where they depict a man showing female emotions and it is very funny. My DH does see that things need to change, doesnt (as an introvert) really know how to do it, feels pressure and then nothing is going right any more. Pressure makes him feel like he has an empty head. He knows that things need to change because i have told him often before , also with tears coming. Well, i hope and pray for the best.

Good afternoon/ Gabi. The best thing you can do for your situation are things like Bible study. It is good for your spiritual needs. It is good for your social life. To be around more people. I think maybe you are more lonely not just because of your husband. You used to work full time in a hospital. You interacted with your co-workers, patients. You were tired when you went home. I used to work full time, then when DD was born i did part time like 50% in the hospital lab. But with all the extra hours like night work, weekend-and holiday work it was like fulltime. Money was ok. I needed the basic part time, because of having DD, she should not just be at the babysitter. When i came home tired, i cooked, did household things, mainly cared for my DD. Thank you debbie. And yes, with my dd it is always nice, relaxed and we laugh a lot. Has not always been like that when she was in her “difficult years” . Those were long years, lol, but now all is good. Happy Evening to all !! 🤗 I pretty much took the day off today. I did speak with the vet re a couple of things, and she wants to see D again tomorrow, 3:30 Mountain time. I asked her about pancreatitis not being curable, which is what she had said, and what i learned through research. SHe explained that most vets say it is incurable because there is no one medicine that will cure it. She said it’s all basically diet management. Hi Karen I suspect Dutchess will be someone in the middle of the continuum between no disease and serious disease. Maybe heal but with a common sense diet. It will become easier to manage, maybe a commercial diet that will maintain her without constantly have to prepare her diet yourself. I hope so. I’m glad she will see you two tomorrow. It will help to talk in person. The vet probably is still accessing. Will this vet become your new vet? Is she closer than the ER vet.
