Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. Chicken bam bam is a package of spicy coating; he uses it for both chicken and cod. it’s always nice and crispy with just a bit of bite.

Hi Pam, I can relate to the old age toon. You know we had a discussion about old lady clothes a couple days ago. I read a local paper today, and the humorous article was on that very topic, except it was both old lady and old men clothes. It said some of the same things that Ardy Posted. I had to smile. I had a Turkey sandwich today, Deli Turkey that you buy in a little bag. After eating it today I googled it it says most of del Turkey is fake meat. I imagine Ham is too I don’t know but they went through 13 products that are sold and I think I will be eating a peanut butter and Jelly sandwich from now on no more deli meat. I never have been that crazy about it and now the thought of eating it makes me sick.

🤣 I make that typo a lot on my tablet. My virtual keyboard is larger than most tablets, and when stretching the fingers the fingers over stretch and under stretch. I didn’t make as many typos on my old, smaller tablet. The n and b are side by side. So are the u and i. Before, when I meant to type shut, I typo sh*t.

Good afternoon…I’ve been doing this and that..straightening up the house a bit, made a couple phone calls but no answer…tried on a couple tops and keeping them…walked the dogs. I might go for a little walk by myself, too. Maybe tonight or tomorrow we can bring food to FIL’s house, will see what DH says…it’s been awhile. I’m glad we are having a little break from the rain today…maybe it won’t flood as bad. There’s a chance of rain tonight, but we’ll see. It’s nice out but a bit humid…going for a walk..
forgot to say we got a text from DS..a picture of him and “hello from Norway”..we never know ahead of time and it doesn’t surprise me anymore, where he is. Kind of weird though, he hasn’t been answering my texts or my sister’s…this was sent to me/DH.
I bet Norway is pretty. I would like to have a globe and look at exactly where countries are. I have looked at Europe maps, but that does not give me a perspective of how that country may compare in climate to the US, so I can relate. I wonder if Norway would be more like Maine, or perhaps Nova Scotia in climate.
Hi Debbie ♥ Norway is pretty far north; north of northern Ireland. There’s a website that will load a globe and you can put in the country you want to see. i’m sure there are several websites that will list longitude/latitude of a country/state.
Good idea Pam. Wikipedia will usually listed latitude and long.
There is “google earth” ,debbie. Not sure about now, but it even had street view. You can twist and turn the globe the way you like it. And satellite view for pretty norway’s coast and fjords, where they have the farm-raised salmon .
I have that app. I just forget about it.
I also would check wikipedia, they have climate graphs or at least climate infos and so on. 🙂
