Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. Oh, Debbie, thank you for asking. It has been so-so. Everything that went on the last 3 weeks or so has finally caught up to me. Today I slept most of the day. And I am still ready for bed. But, it could be worse. At least I am still able to eat. How was your day?

I hope I’m all done with those things. Taking care of Dutchess while she was sick really did me in, mainly because we haven’t gotten a new refrigerator yet. We have to wait one more month. After spending all the money on her care, we ran a little short in extra money. I had just recently made up my mind on which refrigerator/frezer I wanted. Yes, I was so worried. Just looking at that little sad face. It was heart-breaking. Yesterday, I gave her a little bath and tried to do her nails, but she still won’t let me do it. We did do a short walk and played quite a few times. She is so funny!

Well, I hadn’t even gotten SPO all figured out yet, and now the new phone, I’m in for a real learning experience. I don’t know how to get to the Emojis provided by SPO. I know I have seen that toolbar before, but I don’t know where.

It must be the new phone. I have the upgraded version of the Samsung Galaxy a17, it’s called the UI version. Whatever that means.
When you type into the box I’m typing in now, look at the bottom of the box in light gray. See the smiley face, click on that, then click on one of the emojis you want.
I don’t have that smiley face. The only I have is on the toolbar for the phone.

One of them allowed me to talk and type, the other one did not. So I chose the talk and type version. Tomorrow I will investigate that, plus what you sent and see if I can figure it out. I really appreciate you finding that for me. I probably never would have gotten there. 🌸

The Lilacs wre finally blooming today, I just kept walking past this Lilac bush, so I could smell them😍 The smell of the first Lilac of the season is always the best
