Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. I saw this a couple of months ago Pam, they were even considering painting the roads with a special paint to reflect the sun to keep the air cooler. The thing is new trees need lots of water so the roots get established, what a great city project this is for the planting of the trees😍🌳

Breaking News for the Ridglan dogs- Riglan said it will sell 1,500 dogs to rescues, not sure what’s to happen to the remaining 500 dogs. This is going to court yet again so there will be daily up dates. DIL Laura Trump is trying to help save the dogs not sure what that entitles or how she’s helping?
SELL to the rescues? How about paying for the rescues to take them!
It’s the company who breeds the dogs , they could of handed over the dogs in March
i know. They are not researchers, they breed the dogs. So there is no reason the dogs should be sick. They are like puppy mills, except instead of selling to the pet market, they are selling to research facilities. When they confiscate dogs at puppy mills who have been mistreated and sick, they don’t pay for the dogs. They seize them and turn them over to shelters. Thanks Deb. It just doesn’t seem right to me. If the dogs are sick, they were abused and seems the company should have to surrender them at least, not be paid. But, I guess the law was followed according to existing statues.

Yes, but I also understand they are getting paid for the dogs. You shouldn’t get paid for surrendering abused, sick animals.
Its this July 1st 2026 no dogs have been surrendered, unless it has changed today after court hearing

Good morning…last night we did quick trip to Aldi for a few things and Culver’s…I got chicken tenders. I wasn’t able to get ahold of my aunt yesterday, not sure if I’ll try again today. Not sure what I’ll be doing, possible work on dog homework and /or agility, we’ll see..going to make another decaf coffee or maybe tea now.
