Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. I walked this morning and then I washed one window inside and out, I had already washed the blinds.
Rick went to Lowes again to try and pay our bill that is due May 2 and they still say it cleared but it hasn’t since NO money can come out of a frozen account for bills. But tomorrow Rick has an appointment and they will transfer our money into our new checking account!
Rick came home with this lemon meringue pie. It was my dad’s favorite, mom would make it for him.
Oh, I do miss those from my childhood, as well! 🤪

You checking nightmare will end soon I help. Is it possible that check cleared before the account was frozen? Jo has written checks at places where they ran the check though somehow and literally handed her back her check while she stood there.

Nope nothing can clear….I am watching it bouncing around in my account. The bank did a print out for Rick and it has NOT cleared. MACY’s told me my payment had cleared too and I knew it hadnt and wouldnt but they let me pay for it at the store.
Sounds like there’s a problem with the bank knowing whether the money is frozen or not. How can Lowe’s think that went through, otherwise?
Not problem with the bank, they know whats going on and so do I but these stores done believe us.

Good Thursday afternoon, yay! It is still Thursday, right ? 🤣😂. I’ve been awake for a couple hours now, just trying to get things situated. I really did need some sleep. Oh dear Karen. Osteo necrosis in both shoulders. Do they know what causes this, is it rare? Get that appointment ASAP. Have you seen the RA doc yet? We got to get you fixed up!
Hi Debbie, they think it may be part of the RA thing. It’s just in my body. Plus, there was a time when I was not able to take any estrogen after my hysterectomy, and that possibly caused quite a bit of problems. I did get a message from the RA folks, who say they are going to be contacting me shortly. Another step.
I’m glad you are finally getting some help Karen. You have had so much. Remind me what did the long term steroid do to you? I know you told me. And now the hernia surgery has healed. Time to address the shoulders, RA.
I was on the corticosteroids for 12 years or so. They caused me to have cataracts, gastrointestinal probs, osteoporosis, bone joint death, diabetes, skin thinning, a compromised immune system and a few other things. I was so fortunate in that I was able to beat the diabetes when I got off the steroids. I got off steroids with Fasenra. I was a trial patient. After three months of being on it, I was off the steroids, and the diabetes went away. Plus i lost 100 lbs. Whoever is on corticosteroids, I encourage them to try it.
Sounds like you should have sued. When I look at it I feel like those steroids caused just about everything you are dealing with now. Even the hernia. So you were only on them 3 months and it did all that damage? That is horrible. We’re you on the steroids to treat asthma?
I have been watching the US Steel eagles some and the HAYS nest.

Thank you, Ardyth. It is painful. And not only that, but I can’t move my arms above my shoulders. Really tough doing my hair. I’m hoping they can fix me without too much ado.
I wish I had enough time to watch all of the nests, they each have their own personality/personalities.

True, I just watched and saw at the Cruz and Andor nest in the California Islands, as one of their 3 babies fell out of the nest, and an expert just came out and picked it up and put it back in. Amazing!

I’ve been working on my closet. Removed some clothes I can’t wear now. Because I don’t trust myself to maintain my weight, I’ve decided to store some in a big suitcase I have. If that suitcase is taking up room empty, it might as well take up the same amount of room full.
That makes sense to store in the suitcase.
