Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. Oh I meant from Youtube for the race…in the past they sent me emails when they moved on to the next live stream.

Back from plant shopping, what a wirl wind.🙄 Bruce likes short cuts we never found the green house, even GPS didn’t work. But going through a town in a grocery store parking lot there was a stand with green houses set up and it was done by the green house we were going too. I told Bruce to pull over and stop at the one in the parking lot. They had everything we needed. Good afternoon…I hung some laundry outside…washing pet and people throws now..I swept ourside,lots of sticks and pine needles on the driveway and porches..pulled some weeds, picked up sticks…it’s nice out, 70s and a breeze. Debbie, I saw you posted more pictures..love them all and I really want to pick up those babies!

Rick bought a tarp to put up on the empty space in the carport to protect the right side of my KIA so it doesnt fade.

Do you have a Camping World in Tucson. They would probably have screens meant to hang on awnings to shield the sun. See through but still blocks out a lot of sun. Or something like the screen that creates the jailbird effect for our hummingbirds.
Who cares what it looks like? its serving a purpose. That’s normal weather damage coverage here mostly on roofs and over cars- everybody uses them. They come in different colors too, camouflage seems to be the most popular

Hi Pam, funny toon! Wow your weather. What a swing. That was a very high scoring hockey game, I guess I don’t know the scoring. I thought a score of 14-9 would mean 23 goals, so I guess there is a way to get a score other than a goal id]f there were only 15 goals. Shows how much I know about hockey. But sounds like a high scoring game which I think are always more fun to watch in most sports. Except golf!

Not an idiot but I was really thinking there might be another way to score! I didn’t really think so because I have watched a little bit of hockey, but wasn’t sure.

There were several in the 2-5 age category but they spent most of the day upstairs in the playroom. Lots of toys up there. I don’t have any photos from up there. I should check FB to see if other family took pictures up there.
