Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. Dog is I think half AnatolianShepherd and half Great Mastiff, or was it Pyrenees? I can never get it straight. Anyway they are supposed to be good guarding the chickens.

I can see the Anatolian sheperd in the dog and Pyrenees. Its head is to small for a Mastiff. The farm channels I watch use the sheperd’s for guard dogs for goats. They are big loyal dogs

The posts get mixed up when anyone replies to an old message, past the load more at the bottom of the page. The more of these load more you go past, the harder to get the posts back in order. Good morning…high of 78 and windy today…blowing dust advisory. I’ll be doing laundry and not sure what else. forgot to say that yesterday we went to see Michael..and like my sister texted me “WOW!!” afterwards I texted her, saying “back to reality”…so it was a high and total escape and then reality..like when we used to go to concerts…and some we kept going back a couple times for the “high”..same with movies…saw a couple several times.
