Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. Now that’s really sad, I hope they do a necropsy to find out and if it is laws have to be changed for lead hunting and fishing products, people need to be aware how the Eagles injest lead-states need to stop selling such items and fisher men/women and hunters can stop using them too. There’s no reason that lead is used any morer

Howdy-do BellaFam Cool/cloudy morning; supposed to be 72 later; pretty sure it won’t get there 🤔 Went to the post office, then got enough gas to get to Pueblo tomo when i can fill up at Sam’s; their gas is a lot less $$$ than anywhere else. I had my labs this morning. Then I came home and I washed my car by hand and that about did my back in. I dont know why I do it other than Rick didnt volunteer to take it to the do it yourself and $40 is too much. I wanted a clean car when i meet Joyce for lunch. I dont know if i told you she got a 2024 kia soul and i want their pictures taken side by side Wednesday. Now I am doing all the laundry I do before tomorrow/ cleaning day.
