Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. Good morning Bellas, I’m spitting fire,last night when I was shutting down Jade jumped up and stepped on the hinge of my computer and broke it, some how I’m able to type I ca’t close the computer it won’t bend😫 I’m calling Bruce to see if he can take me to the computer repair place. I’m just upset
Bruce will take me to the computer place to have them look at it, see what they can do, had storms last night really loud thunder and lots of lightning. Oh I can’t close my computer so I will have to leave it open I’m afraid the screen will fall off😫

Good morning Sunshine, even though it isn’t very sunny for you. I’m so sorry for you and your computer. Sorta freaky that happened. I’m surprised you can type. I hope the computer guy can fix it. It might not be too hard a fix, or too expensive, if you can still type and post. I’m glad Bruce is taking you to the computer place but sorry you are upset. I really hope the computer shop can fix it on the spot.

Good morning Bella Buds. I was so tired last night I could hardly post. I tried to just use the cane yesterday for pretty much the first time. I think that tired me out more. But in the long term it will be better for me. I had left over dishes this morning and got them done. I bought green beans, corn, yellow squash, home grown strawberries, couple onions and one tomato!
Nothing else cracking today. I just took one photo of the farm yesterday, but the video on Facebook shows it really good.
sounds good…corn already? and squash and a tomato? our farmer’s market starts Saturday, not sure what they will have there so early but there are probably more non- food booths anyway..it’s supposed to be bigger this year.
The only thing local I believe was the strawberries. They get the other stuff from southern states. That is why I don’t buy a lot. I don’t know when beets are available locally, but they had some that the tops looked very fresh.

Good late morning…sitting on my porch. I did a few things…litter boxes, peanuts for the squirrels, filled outside water bowl, put a few more long sleeved shirts in a tote…that’s about it…not sure what my sister has in mind for today, she got in late last night (our mom’s).

yes, she’s able to come more often now…every couple months or so…sometimes a bit more in the summer.
