Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. I’m back inside with Jade right before I came into the house I had an Oriole come to my hummer feeder so I dug around in the garage and found my Oriole feeder suppose to put grape jelly in it will get some tomorrow, I don’t have grape jelly so I put cherry jello in it till I get the jelly. Jade had a good walk, went to the taco truck for dinner😋

I think it was a female? had a male a few days ago. They like to be near water because they need cat tails to make their hanging nests that they weave, they use grasses too.

i saw that. Apparently it is older than Pabst Blue Ribbon.
Its a sad day Ardyth that they stopped making it, I grew up drinking that beer-it was a staple in our house😋

So after the movie, my sister and I tried on sunglasses at a resale shop where they have lot of vintage items…big one, cat eye ones, heart ones…we were looking in a mirror and laughing!

Oh Yum! At Friday’s party, little Ryley was chewing on a strawberry that was almost as big as his head! 😄 At 11 months old, it probably made his gums feel good.

I bet it helped his gums a lot! We gave the babies frozen fruit in the summer and they loved it!

Good trip to/from Pueblo; little traffic and we made excellent time. Oh, i did get some Black Raspberry ice cream 😋 All that stress over gasoline, come to find out, it was the same price here as at Sam’s and the grade was higher/87, here than what was offered at Sam’s. 😠 Cold out, it did get as high as 65, but it took all day to get there. 😟That’s all i have to report.
Hi Pam, I’m glad you are safely home, yum on the ice cream. Our lowest grade of gas here is 87. I guess climate and terrain have something to do with it. No eating out today I assume. Get rested! Good to see you.

Actually, that’s not as funny as it sounds. Last trip for Sam’s gas, i was waiting my turn and the fella who was filling his tank had on a great t-shirt. I told him i agreed with the sentiment and he came over to chat; Chuck immediately crossed the lot with his cig. 😏 As tho’ i’d not been talking to anyone i pleased for the last 70+ years. 🙄

Hello…my sister and I went to see Michael again…we were kind of dancing in our seats, lol…it’s one of those movies we’d go see again and again…afterwards went to a couple stores…then sat on my porch and now she’s at our mom’s, they might go get a bite to eat..she’ll come back later for a little while. It’s a bit chilly out, 60s, breezy, cloudy
