Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. Well you can’t tell from the ground but there’s lots of hail damage to the roof, and the garage roof, the pictures the roof guy’s got will be sent to the insurance company for them to decide what happens next
You can’t have holes in the ground like you had without damaging a roof. Remember the photo you showed us?
Just had a male Ruby throat humming bird show up this might be a mate for the female😍
It is a miracle. Jo is ready, outside doing bird feeders. We will be leaving soon.
Debbie, Debbie the hummingbird just had a boy Freind show up, I just saw him. I haven’t seen her-he was at the feeder😍

I’m like I don’t know? they might have to tear the whole roof of put new boards down-it would be a real Hassel for me as my room would be exsposed to the out doors and then what about Jade? I’m stressing….

They were just at his house, I didn’t need to be here when they came but I took them into my neighbors yard so they could get pictures of the siding from the neighbors yard so I did help with getting good pictures😍 plus I kept them from walking in my garden, the one guy said he wouldn’t have walked in it anyhow as he could tell it was a garden and his wife has one too😂

I understand the stress. I’m sure they will tear off the roof. They will replace boards if necessary. Jade will probably be ok but you can’t be naked up there. Once the roof is torn off the boards will probably go quickly so it won’t last long. The work will probably take 2 days, depending how many workers.
Good morning Bella Buds. I’m having my coffee and cookie. It is a beautiful morning, a perfect day for my trip. We are 70 outside, sunny, should be a high of about 80. Good Morning Bellas, its 46 will be in the 80’s today, love the morning peace and coolness I’m up because Jade was messing around brought me a ball in bed and she was making little chirp sounds that she brought me a present. Oh joy-no really joy so I’m having a chi latte’and watching the sun shine through the tree leaves all the pretty greens💚 just this and that today. I want to walk by the community gardens and look for Monarchs🤓

I do look under milkweed leaves for eggs but you need Monarchs to have eggs and that’s the clue to look🤓 need the Monarch before you get eggs😍 the gardens on one side has a natural prarie-lots of milkweed growing so its a good place to see a flash of orange from the Monarchs😘
