Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. The chicks will continue to grow in the nest for about three to four weeks before fledging. More information about the cams, set-up or to make a donation please visit alyssasnaturesanctuary.org.

Lazy day after this morning with Nikki. I did some cleaning, washed the glass globes that cover the lights in the bedrooms and hallway, washed things on top of the fridge. Then watched recorded shows and had a little nap.
Watching the Belmont now.
Got my compression socks today.
Like the kitty socks.
me too thanks
Those are adorable; if ya gotta wear compression socks, at least wear these 💗
That is what i thought
or owl socks 😂
Yep I wanted black because i will be wearing black pants when i fly
Fever play at 7 CT.
I’m hopping in the shower and going for a walk down to the corners so that’s what I’m up to
You are going pretty far this late. Have fun. We are watching the Belmont it is the next race.
Road construction in bloom😂
😆
I did the exercise bike again. I don’t like it, but it will get better. I have to stick with it and as time goes by ride longer. I know I’ll see benefits.
Did you put on as many miles?
I did 2 miles. I’m going to keep it there for awhile. I might do 2 more miles later today, I don’t know. But 2 miles at once is enough right now.
I think 2 miles is great and you can build up your miles gradually
I could not add another bout today because I just barely could chop/roast me some veggies, do several things for pets, wash dishes and other things. Now I’m pooped.
Ardy you do know the Belmont is on?
Yep we were watching
I did do the first bout today, it was a second I didn’t do.
Back from being outside I stopped at the Dollar store for TP and I like the frozen Blue berry’s they have,I give them a nuke for 30 seconds and have them on my cerealthey are very good tasting and keep longer than fresh blue berries😋 talked to Judy we are not doing the festival, she has so much going on, her Mom is not feeling well and she’s driving her son half way up north to stay with a friend of hers, plus she has a loner car her car is in the shop-her stearng wheel stopped working-its just one… Read more »
Its also hot and humid-my clothes are sticking to me ugh I hate that feeling😫
I can’t believe the variety your Dollar store has. Dollar General here has quite a bit of frozen and refrigerated stuff, but I don’t think the Dollar Tree has much. I buy a lot of frozen fruit, mainly peaches, pineapple and peaches. I don’t have to worry about spoilage and take out what I want, pop back in the freezer. Good grief is that Judy’s new Subaru? They have a better track record than just about any vehicle for needing repairs! Is it not working out for Judy’s son living with her or with her local friend to take him… Read more »
I rarely go to Dollar General as they are more pricey. I wonder what the name of Julies store is . None of our Dollar Trees have anything frozen. There used to be a 99cent store by us that Rick loved. They had wonderful fresh produce but they went under for some reason.
I did a google earth thing one time and it sure looked like Dollar Tree. I should do it again.
I looked again. I think if I got the right shopping center it is Family Dollar.
I used to go to Family Dollar but many of them closed here and they too arent $ stores, so misleading when they add the name Dollar.
Is Dollar Tree still $1?
Our Family Dollar closed, then at another location reopened as a combo Family Dollar and Dollar Tree. I haven’t been in it.
Should be peaches, pineapple and wild blueberries.
Going to run a errand
