Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. Chuck just got back from Pioneer; Rick was sitting up in the chair so Chuck reached over the bed and turned on the window A/C. Rick started getting cold after about 40 mins, then he set up the fan to continue blowing cool air. I’m not going over today; having some serious tummy issues 💩💩 probably from the heat/stress. We meet with the palliative care case worker tomo at 1p. Poor Chuck, having to deal with all the heat. You too! Sounds like the best decision not to go today. 💩😷. I can imagine the heat and stress at the same time.
Rick felt the cold air, I would take that as a good sign that he noticed it and he was sitting up😍 Maybe it would be good if he had a favorite blanket to cover up with and some PJ’s or such, things to make him comfortable.

I had my own clothes, but not pillows and such. But I was considered rehab.

This is about Jacki that used to cut my hair. I saw this on FB this morning……………Someone started a go fund me for Jacki. I was shocked. Dave wasnt her two daughters and her sons dad. One of Jacki’s daughters is a drug addict, in and out of prison so her and Dave legally adopted her daughter who I think just graduated from High school
That makes it sadder.

Phone call was good with my Mom. She has a pet wild rabbit she feeds every night, she calls it by its name “Thumper” and it comes when she calls it. Gery and she went to see my Dad yesterday, things are the same but he does have a new nurse a male nurse my Mom really likes him so that was good to hear😍
How cute your Mom has a pet rabbit. What is your dad like now in his day to day functioning?
She loves rabbits, she had rabbits when she was a little girl. It gives her something to do interacting with wild life, leaves are turning up north. My Dad mostly sleeps but he did wake up and he talked a little. He’s still getting PT nothing has really changed
I’m glad he is able to talk a little. Is his health issues mostly because of the January stroke, or maybe the infection?
They had a social for the residents at the nursing home a root beer float party and they had gotten my Dad into a wheel chair for that not sure if he was able to have a float? its one of his favorite things someone would of had to help him have a float as far as eating and drinking it, he can’t eat by himself any more has to be fed
It is good he got to go to the social. They probably gave him some of the float.

Watching wildlife can be so relaxing and soothing. l’m glad your Mom does this. And i’m glad your Dad is holding his own. I wish he would just get better overnight. 🙏
