Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. Good morning! oh when I got up to go to the bathroom I discovered that Nikki had pooped in the bedroom on the carpet and in the spare room on a rug. The rug’s not a problem because I’m washing it now but the carpet uh not so good. So I was probably letting her out at least five times between one and 5 o’clock and then I had to clean her up a little bit because of her long fur so it wasn’t a morning for me. What a way to wake up🙄 you had her out plenty of times and still pooped in the house her guts must of been working over time trying to get the people food out. If you feed her people food again and knowing that this can happen can you put a old rug down or news paper for her to go on? would she use it? easy fix no people food😘🐶
She only pooped inside before i got up then she went to the door.

Good Morning Bellas, Suns shining, birds are singing-last nights storm threatwasn’t bad for me I did get lots more rain and there was a good lightning show there ended up being 4 tornado warnings north of me not sure of any damage? there’s a festival this weekend I’m not sure if I’m going? I told Judy about it, we went last year-her plate is always full with things she’s doing we can have plans and it always gets canceled so 😘

Good morning..I just drank my coffee and after DH comes to let the dogs out and play for a bit, I’ll go to my petsitting job. This is the lat day. We have dog class also, and possibly after class we might go to FIL’s house for a bit, and maybe the grocery store…just to run in for a couple things. I think that’s it. this cat is out a lot and sometimes even has been gone for weeks..but they wanted to get her in, know she is ok..this is the last dog class for this time

oh I didn’t pick her up, she only lets her “mama” pick her up..she’s been out awhile which is what she does
