Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. Good evening….had rain last night, and today on and off..sometimes light, sometimes heavy. I was lazy most of the day but mid afternoon we took Bane to the vendor market and garden faire in the next town…I bought zucchini bread from our friend and a spider plant for $1 at the garden faire. DH grilled hamburgers and I had a couple sides from the deli…didn’t do much after that, still kind of tired and lazy..no sunshine today but the flowers got watered. Oh Lynn, that rain sounds so good!! I am really missing it. We ought to have our monsoons soon. I hope so — we are getting really dry and yellow. I remember getting the little spider plants for $1 each at K-Mart and then Wal-Mart, maybe the same price. They are so cute!! 😊 The burgers sound good. Enjoy your relaxation time. 🤗

We do in the Springs. Rains pretty hard every day for a 2-4 week period. Beautiful sunny skies before and after. Grass grows so fast, i could never keep up with it.
That is considered a monsoon for us.

I know that spider plants are safe for pets so that’s why I got one, and a good price, too…I’ve seen them for much more..it’s not big and thick but will hopefully get there.

Yes it is my laptop, its pretty much all i use. It is for the billing cycle. I used to check to keep tabs on it. You can see day by day what you used. Normally I dont go over 40 GB a day….one day was 80 GB
We must have unlimited data for our WIFI. We are both on our computers a lot.
Too much Googling and looking at clothes I guess. I watch movies om Peacock when i get up but that was only 10%

Good morning. Yes it is still morning for me. I slept until 10:00. I wasn’t even here yesterday (mentally). As I was waiting for my appointment, my left eye started hurting, and when I got in there the doctor said that I had a couple of bottom eyelashes that had curled into my eye, so he pulled them out for me. Nice guy. They won’t bother me again. And then he examined me and, of course my eyes were dilated. He did not give me a vision test, because my vision will change after I have the surgery. Then after calling Walmart and arranging for a later delivery they still didn’t delivery it until the next day. Did I get that right? I don’t understand exactly what you mean, Debbie. You’ll have to spell it out for me, I’m not quite with it yet. I’m still waiting to hear from the rheumatologist. I was told it may take up the 6 months. I called about a week ago I think and was told I’m on the list. And I have to have the shoulder done first anyway, so I’m not too upset about it. I’m having a special CT scan on my shoulder next week. I know I should probably be on some special RA medicine, but I’m really afraid of them,… Read more »
If you do have rheumatoid arthritis and the inflammation worsens your joints, you cannot correct the damage. That is why it is important to find out. The medicines are all slow to work, to even know if they are working. It took me at least a year to find the right medicine. In that time my hands got worse and a lot of things are difficult. I lost function in them while finding the right medicine. Things like preparing fresh green beans, peeling potatoes, buttoning anything, getting a zip lock bag open.
Well, this last doctor I saw told me that it probably can’t get much worse for me in my right hand. I have just learned to deal with it, I guess. But I’m still going to start wearing a splint. I just have to order one. I know this doctor is good. Their whole practice has great ratings, and I’ve talked to a lot of people about them. I hope to have it all halfway taken care of within the next couple of months. With the exception of possible surgery on my left hand and left shoulder, but they’re not… Read more »

Yes, I kept trying to pull over and use Google on my phone, while my husband did the same thing on his phone, and we couldn’t find it anywhere. Except for some street similar to that on the other side of town. This place is right near the Broadmoor Golf course. And the Cheyenne Mountain Country Club which has its own golf course. Each having their own lake. So you can kind of imagine what type of atmosphere it is. The 30-min appt was great! My previous doctor’s office, who I had been with for 56 years, who canceled me because of insurance, told me i would need it. That doctor, who is retired now, only one of two eye docs in my life, told me that I would definitely need YAG surgery on my right eye at some point. And I knew the signs to look for. Dark vision, blurry, and just plain hard to see. This new place place is highly recommended. A couple of the other ones I looked at had bad marks.

Yes, we normally take Dutchess everywhere. It has just always been that way for some reason. Maybe because we’re old and she’s probably the last baby.
No, my husband has had four spinal surgeries and cannot turn his neck enough. Plus, it hurts his back to sit that way. He doesn’t even get a license any more.

Pam, i forgot to say: I’m so glad you got Windows 10 to work. It’s usually pretty good, I have Windows 8 and knock on wood have been able to use it. Windows is a pretty versatile program actually. I checked it out briefly. Looks like 1,000 to 1,500 for a decent size memory and other features. Unless you can catch a really good sale. Or maybe a used one from a reputable source. 🤐
That’s how i got the ASUS, it was open-box; original price was almost double what i paid. Will probably take the HP to the Geeks at Best Buy to have it scrubbed and reset; much less $$ & the HP is practically brand new.
