Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. Good morning Bella Buds. We were sunny now cloudy. 82 with 70% humidity which makes the air rather heavy. It is breezy too. A lot of rain and wind went horizontally across the state, a thin strip that included Louisville and Lexington both. It barely clipped the top of the county I worked in that has severe drought. I wish it had tracked 30 miles further south. It would have really helped them.

yes I always pay attention to the dewpoint now that I know the difference
I don’t know I never hear it mentioned. They just talk about humidity, which is what both of my indoor/outdoor thermometers register.
yeah they don’t usually mention the dewpoint but that is where the mugginess is

Good Morning Bellas its a cool 58 rain has stopped might get to see the sun today, thinking of the communities coming together to help each other out after the tornado outbreak safety and hope to all involved so many weather events happening all at once and its not even summer yet😳 Its been week after week of storms and damage. I will watch the Nicks parade today and the Obama event tonight, I’m not sure what else just see how it goes?
Good morning Julie. Where was the tornado closest to you. Glad the bad weather has passed for you. The Obama library ceremony is at 10 AM this morning live, but I’m sure a lot of it can be found on YouTube tonight if you want to watch tonight. It lasts 4 hours on CNN.
It was south west of me and south east, there’s damage but there were lots of warnings-no one was hurt😘
