Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. Good evening…watching the Disney Christmas special…we got some more snow and sleet, too…not sure what it’s doing now…my sister and i were out for awhile..book store, farm store, and lunch at a little restaurant/deli…it started sleeting so we headed back to my house and drank some tea..she’s been at our mom’s since then, decorating for Christmas. I’ll start doing that in a day or two.

No, none yet. We are very “south” Colo Spgs, so sometimes it doesn’t make it here. Of course, I didn’t go out today, so it could have snowed and melted before I even saw it. 🤣 I don’t think so though.

A good day here; cold with snow on the ground — water was frozen in the cat-dishes; they were very happy to see me toss the ice out and replace it with actual drinking water.
Got scheduled for installation of our new wi-fi on Thursday morning; which is free because of the special they’re promoting; along with the 1st month free too 🤸♀️🤸♀️ The woman at the communications company was horrified by what i’ve been paying 🙄

That is gorgeous Debbie. Everything looks so nice now. Your countertop and those are door fronts and of your cupboards right? That’s what Rick and I should get but I’m sure that cost a pretty penny too
If we paid in cash it was $1900 for all the doors. That includes the upper and lower cabinets and all the drawers.

I think it turned out ok with what we had to match. I would have liked the floor to have more sheen and said so in the store more than once. She said they are all like this, it is I guess what people want or the style.
