Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA

Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.

There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. The chicks will continue to grow in the nest for about three to four weeks before fledging. More information about the cams, set-up or to make a donation please visit alyssasnaturesanctuary.org.

Good evening…we went out for a few hours..farm store (cat food, dog treats, dog toys, a throw for the couch, etc..then to get a couple things at Walmart (hand lotion, toilet paper, coffee, tea..) and ate at Cracker Barrel….saw my mom and sister at the farm store. My helper just stopped by with a Christmas card and homemade blueberry bread, yum…and a nice surprise. My sister might come over later for a little while.

They are supposed to move it but I don’t know what they will do about the desk it doesn’t go thru the door. I guess they will just have to do the floor in parts.

They have to do flooring in parts a lot of times, like with toilets and hallways and doorways. I’m sure they can handle that easy if necessary. I’m glad you guys don’t have to move the stuff

Rick made one meal for him that he might eat tomorrow which I doubt since we’re going out for Mexican food and the rest was thrown away except for the Turkey we kept that. I’ve eaten that dinner for three and a half days so I think we got our money’s worth up I can still have a cold Turkey sandwich and cranberries

I think I have another meal I’ll have to look. And from our turkey I froze enough to make several meals. 3 bags, each probably 3 meat meals. Didn’t freeze any sides but we always have frozen Bob Evans Mac n cheese and mashed potatoes.
