Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. Julie called they may stay through the weekend. She has already called the vet boarding Jade and Judy will go get Jade Friday and take her to Julie’s house. Her Dad had a reaction to ephedrine (I hope that is right) the doc prescribed, one of the reasons they are staying longer.

The big comfy i ordered last year is SO heavy and no zipper in the front, just a pull on…..just too bulky to wear around the house, good if you are just laying on the bed.
Good morning Ardy I’m glad you are feeling better. It just seems like medical science could figure out something to do about RLS. This Comfy looks to be a lot less bulky, I think you will like it better. I think I would like them with oversized easy buttons spaced like 8 inches apart. But I think you will love it. I won’t tell Rick.
LOL I did tell Rick, he is always home when my online orders come. He said he forgot about the big comfy. I swear it weighs 20 lbs. Like i said if you are sick in bed it would be good but not for doing anything around the house. I will keep it.

It was very hard on the washer!!! I dried it on the line overnight and then the dryer. It was a nightmare.

Mine don’t either. Are these the same as yours? I just get the Ruby’s. Some species may be more aggressive than others.
Tucson is home to several hummingbird species, including the most common year-round resident, the Anna’s Hummingbird. Other frequent visitors and residents include the Broad-billed Hummingbird, Black-chinned Hummingbird, and Costa’s Hummingbird. Many other species can be seen seasonally, such as the Rufous and Broad-tailed Hummingbirds, as they migrate through the area.

Hello- just a quick pop in. Good news on your outing today Debbie. Just came to remind those that need to – time to open cabinet doors that have pipes near outside walls. Still snowing here, but only about 6 inches I think. Light and fluffy so easy shoveling tomorrow. I only do the deck so not bad. We haven’t been plowed – driveway yet.

Hi Karen Marie. I hadn’t done mine yet, should have last week, but no issues so lucky. We are headed into pretty steady cold temps Thursday and most of next week. I just have the kitchen sink pipes to deal with.

I want you to feel better. You have had a lot of obstacles for a good while now. I know a lot of them.
I think they are getting better slowly, each one of them. Not near fast enough though. Not really even enough to notice actually, until I start thinking about it. Today was the first day in years that I was able to wear a normal bra and a t-shirt and nice pants outside. It was a wonderful feeling.
