Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. Loaded fries it had roast beef on it fresh peppers and onions BBQ sauce and sour cream topped with scallions-this was my lunch and a beer😋

It was just so good, Bruce let me have his 2 left over tacos that he couldn’t eat so I have tacos for dinner, they are chicken ones his order came with 4 tacos

Bruce never eats left overs, he didn’t really like the tacos-said they were dry

I have never had fries that way. I’m going to make that the next chance I get! If i don’t do too many fries or much sour cream, it will fit my diet. Yay!

This doesn’t look like released butterflies. They look like they are in plastic bags.
They just came in they put them in envelopes for transport they just arrived😍They came from a butterfly farm that raises the Monarchs and other types of butterflies. The Butter fly farm is USDA certified, for the tropical butterflies it gets and raises
How do they breathe?
Through their abdomen the envelopes are not air tight
Must be hard to do that without damaging them.
You just grab them by their folded wings and just put them in, that’s how you handle them by their wings
When you pick them up by the wings their legs just fold up, the wings are fragile but stiff like holding paper between your fingers

Its a Great Swallow tail, a very big butter fly that was just sitting on a wall

Butterflies are so pretty. We have a botanical gardens here where they have all kinds of butterflies

What do y’all think about this for the kitchen? I know the pattern is big. I’m not sure how I feel about that. I do like the swag valance, and I think it will fit the windows. One window is a little larger so I need curtains that come in more than one size.
Jo was not thrilled with it but really doesn’t care.

Good afternoon…nice day and a nice breeze..sitting on my porch. So far I did just a little of this and that…took a little walk, so nice. Hi Lynn, sounds like a nice summer day to me. I had a smallish hamburger for lunch, no cheese or Mayo. It was so good to me. The only burgers I’ve had were in Somerset and I could not “doctor” them up like at home to make them really good.
today I had a grilled cheese panini (half) at a little coffee shop, went with DH…oh and an iced chai.

Hi Lynn, i guess I misunderstood. It is a little different! 😄 But i can say for sure that I love tomato with cheese (mustard and mayo). I could eat those every night. I’ve never tried flavored seltzer water. Something to think about . . .
I thought I would share this with no speculation, just facts. I last received an email from Lin on 3/7. Since then I emailed on 3/12; 4/4; 4/26; 6/27 with no response. So on 7/25 I decided to snail mail her a little “Thinking of You” card with a note saying I’d emailed, was thinking of her, missed her, and hoped all was well in her world. there could be a few possibilities she hasn’t responded, health, too busy, wants to leave this chapter in her life behind…how did she sound in her last email of March 7? short and to the point, lengthy and involved?
I’ve considered it all. The email 3/7 was short but it was in response to something I had sent to several privately, not personal. But she emailed me 3 times in Feb., one was quite long and sweet. I know she is busy in the summer, that is why as you see my emails were spaced out. I just wanted to share, I really don’t know. Like you I just hope she is ok. I think very highly of her.

I know that happens. But we talked on the phone a few times. Best I remember one call was 2 hours, another 3! Emailed a lot. Sent gifts. She has no obligation to me, I mainly want to know she is ok, and just prefers not to maintain communication. I’ll miss her, but would understand.

It is a long time not to check emails. Contact her only for yourself, not me. I sent her the snail mail card, she has to know. And I told her I’d emailed her. So she knows, it is in her ball park. I don’t want her to feel obligated. No one should feel obligated.
Okay here’s the text you were talking about. I didn’t know that you had emailed her. I thought you were trying to get a hold of her on chat. You know some people really don’t like to email all the time or at all. But you did say she answered you a few times so that probably isn’t it. But maybe something’s wrong. I only know this of what you said, it was LIN’s idea to email. I personally don’t like email for communicating with friends. I have trouble if the email becomes a thread. But it is her favored way to communicate. I hope she is just busy, and it is ok if she has decided she really doesn’t want a relationship. It is not for a lot of people. I would just like to know she is ok and had rather discontinue a relationship. But I’ll miss her. I think very highly of her.
