Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. I ordered a cutting board from WM and chose pick up to save shipping fee. I thought i could go in and pick it up but seems it is curb pickup and I have never done that before!!! And I dont want to so i will see what they say when i do the return.
I also have to take the “plastic” cutting board back to Target, will do this tomorrow morning. UGH
Good to keep your cutting boards in working order, I have one for meat and another for veggies. I never mix the meat and veggies cutting boards. I do bleach them. For pick up you just let them know your there and they bring it to you
Good morning Ardy. How do you know you want to return the cutting board when you haven’t got it? I’ve never done a curb pickup but I’ve done many grocery pickups. You park in a designated place, do a notification on your cell and tell them the number of your parking spot. I’m enjoying my first cup of coffee, the flavored one you recommended. I’ll have to try that coffee, don’t go to Walmart often. A lot of people seem to use and like the pickups in the car.
I put grounds in the filter most of the time, just used to it. Sometimes I do use Cameron’s eco pods.
my cutting board has one side for veggies, the other for meat, I only use the veg side

Good Morning sweet Bellas😍 rain and storms on the way. Last night I scheduled my vaccines. I go today to get Flu, Covid and pnuemonia shots. The flu is showing up around here and Walgreens has the shots. I go at 2:00pm. That’s what’s happening. I have a Monarch reveal so I will have to pick a time for release this will be my 5th release😘
They have come out with a better one for the flu for us over 60

Good morning Sunshine. At one time my doctor wanted me to wait until October to take my shots. She said if I took it too early its strength might not be as good later on when the flu is really at its peak. But she may feel differently if it gets an earlier start. I took a pneumonia shot 2 years in a row, then you did not need another one. I’ll check to be sure this is still true.
I didn’t get the pneumonia shot last year because the shot is good for 2 years. I always get my flu shot at this time. The flu is here now. The shot doesn’t start loosing its strength for 3-6 months. I have never had a problem with it not working. Just have to wash your hands and not touch your face
I just stay away from people 😂
I get the shots and wear a mask. Use more hand sanitizer when out.
I don’t know which month is usually worse, August or April for flu, I just follow my doctor’s advice.
Good morning….sipping my coffee, waiting for DH to come and take the dogs out. They are waiting, too. Not sure what I’m doing today. I mentioned having the Cubs game on, not watching all of it, just bits and pieces..it’s because it’s the “sound of summer” to me, or at least one of them, since I was a kid…my parents, especially my mom, always had the games on when I was a kid. Think I’ll sit on the porch a bit unless it’s too chilly.

Debbie, I did a little bit of everything. I took my husband to a morning PCP Dr appt, and then to an early afternoon appt with his cardio doc. Ran all kinds of errands in between everything we did. To Lowe’s to get pieces and parts for a few projects. I sure do miss Hugh M. Woods , it was a good size, not too big. Then to Wal-Mart and Best Buy to get husband a new cell phone. Sometimes I wish i did have more hours.. But I stay in the car for the dr appts and the phone selection process. I do business stuff or watch videos or take naps with Dutchess. It’s not as bad as it sounds.

Hugh M. Woods was the first large home improvement store in this area. I used to spend hours in there when my house was new. I was amazed that a store could have all that stuff. I guess it was only in Colorado, from 1979 to 2001. I am watching very carefully for warnings of head hitting syndrome. I did overdo, though and not feeling great, so i will crash soon.
I could in no way do all that in one day! If I counted correctly at least 9 places and that didn’t count “shops”.
But I didn’t go into all of them. No way I could!

Yes, thank you. And I am one lucky mama. She could easily just do her thing in the car and then look all sad. But no, she gives me the not to be ignored paw. Which gets rougher and rougher the longer she has to wait. We have figured each other out on most things. 💓
