Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. Now I’m listening to the steel pan drums from the republic of Trinidad and Tobago. they made these beautiful drums from old oil barrels, I just love all the cultures in NYC😍 and the music I love tropical music its so up beat😘

Hello…went to the service and brunch at church…the brunch was so good! Some of the food was from Cracker Barrel…there was scrambled eggs, french toast, biscuits and gravy, bacon, sausage, fruit, etc…I’m stuffed. DH is at the cemetery, maybe we’ll go for ice cream later, much later since I’m so full…my mom went to a car show at the nursing home where she did rehab…also trucks, motorcycles, and tractors there, and food, dj, raffle, etc. I don’t have anything planned…maybe a load of laundry, a short nap, read? or…don’t know. Hope this comment is useful, lol 😂
Hi Lynn. Yes, your comment was very useful and informative. Thank you for that.😁. That brunch sounds wonderful! I would think most churches would have sausage biscuits and donuts! Nice activities at the nursing home. Wonder if it was for the nursing home or just a venue for the show.
Ours just has coffee, water, lemonade donuts and breads like banana bread.
Hi Debbie..it was the nursing home..they have annual events like trick or treating, Easter egg hunt, tractor show in September, etc..

it’s getting to the end of our pastor’s sabbatical…the pastor we had for the past four months, is leaving soon and I LOVE her! I’ll be so sad..so it was a thank you brunch for her.

Had a good talk with my Mom, my Dad might get moved tomorrow from the hospital beck to the nursing home-the might go to Duluth today to see him. He got tests back from the heart tests they did he has a blood clot in his heart and they are giving him medication for that. Still being treated for an infection, they also put the cath back in. She’s feeling good😍 will be getting her shots this week😘
so your mom is only like an hour and half from Duluth? I didn’t realize he was in a Duluth hospital
Yeah about an hour and a half, Duluth hospital because they were needing to check his heart and every one knows up north you go to Duluth for your heart😘

I missed this post earlier Julie, I don’t know how. I wondered what Lynn meant about knowing what was wrong but figured she was still talking about the infection. I thought your Dad went back to the hospital in Ashland, closer to the nursing home. Didn’t know he was in Duluth. Good they found the blood clot and are treating it, and the infection. Because of the blood clot? The Cath was out at the nursing home wasn’t it? They now have a machine for men and women that does not go inside the body and literally sucks the urine as you pee into a container I used one, I think at Vanderbilt.
Not because of the blood clot he can’t get up to use the bathroom, when he wants would have to wait for a nurse to help him they can’t always get there right away to help him and when ya have to go you have to go😜
I understand that. I was miserable in the nursing home. They must have had me on a lot of lasix. I even asked the tech to just leave me on the bed pan but she could not do that. I could have got some sleep on the pan.

The tech was good about coming, it was just so often I didn’t have time to sleep between bedpans!
