Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. Long day; Rick was in better shape than he was on Sat. There was chocolate cake on his tray and ordered milk to go with. He ate most of it. Did some of his PT; put is own socks on. It does make a difference having the correct medication. Vision test didn’t go well so he had to have another CT today. They were going to transfer to a regular room until this last CT, so he’s still in ICU. They sure do take good care of him there. Kitty said these are the best nurses she’s ever seen and… Read more »

Hi Pam progress is good. Putting on socks is good. So, he got wrong medication? I didn’t know that part. I hope it graduates soon to a regular room. Everyone will feel better then. Terrific he is getting good care, that means everything. What did Kitty do in the hospital?

We pay more because we have kia souls which isnt fair.

Hello..just a quick post, I’m so tired…DS was here for a couple days and today I’ve been doing lots of yard work even though I’m tired..drank some pickle juice after being out in the heat, that’s what DS did…and Elvis, I was cracking up….too young?????? my sister and I were HUGE fanatics and still are…we listened to his music all the time, watched ALL of his movies over and over, watched concerts, cried for weeks/months after he died….now we have cds and dvds of music and concerts, still listen and watch them and we’ve been to Graceland…don’t even know if… Read more »

I was too young…..my interest in musicians started with the Beatles.
Elvis was still in his prime when the Beatles came to American. I think it was probably more of a thing of music style, and what you liked.

I was eleven when the Beatles were on Ed Sullivan, that made all the difference.

Yes but he was still going strong in 1977 when you were 24. I am not a music person but I loved him and his movie and concerts. I’m trying to remember. He may be the only famous person I’ve ever seen in a paid concert. I have paid a couple times for a tribute band.

Yea, I was an Elvis fan, there are a bunch of us. I know where I was when I got the devasting news. 1977. So I was 24 at the time. Definitely not that young!
I know where I was too when it was announced he died, I also remember where I was when they announced when JFK died
For JFK I must have walked home from school, Mom met me at the back door crying. I think I knew at school he was shot but not dead.

I just didn’t get to hear his music, its not that I wouldn’t listen to it, there was other music to be discovered with popular songs at the time there was Fleetwood Mac, Led Zepplin, Stevie Wonder, Bee Gee’s,Elton John,David Bowie, Pink Floyd, the Eagles, Queen, Paul McCartney and wings and lots more to many to name
all great musicians! except I don’t care for Queen
So many more that were around at that time music was happening and Disco was the rage too😜

Lynn, so glad DS stopped by for a visit 😘 I always liked Elvis; I remember taking the bus into downtown Denver to see his movies at whatever theater was showing it.
I don’t understand how anyone can not like Elvis, I didn’t really get into him till I was older, but I had older brothers who really liked him from the start and they were teens at the time and of course still liked him as adults (again, how can you not)…and when the Beatles craze started I was all over that lol, I even collected the Beatles bubble gum cards
I had those Beatle cards. I had the Beatle Bobble heads too. If you read below you will know i was young when Elvis came out and i wasnt exposed to him….I never said I didnt like him and I am not saying you said that to me……I was introduced to him later in his life watching his movies.

No, when I moved from MN to AZ i drove my friend and I out here so I had to get rid of most things, sadly. I do have all my albums still.
