Dad HD made a welcome return to the Decorah cameras on August 16, stopping for a fish before flying toward the bluffs. Meanwhile, DH3 continues building strength in a larger rehabilitation enclosure.
Relief has finally come for bird watchers as the missing Decorah Eagle DH3 was found and rescued on July 14. After disappearing from the nest cameras for several anxious days, the fledgling is now at SOAR receiving professional care for a right wing issue.
