You are watching a mating pair of Bald Eagles named M2(male) and F3(female). The nest and PTZ cams are located in a Loblolly pine tree near Kincaid Lake in the Kisatchie National Forest. The cams have been set-up and are maintained by the U.S. Forest service. Nesting usually starts in December followed by egg laying in mid to late January.

2021 Nesting Historical Timeline: Louis & Anna 1st egg laid on 12/4/21, 2nd egg laid 12/7/21. Sadly, one of the eggs broke due to Anna having a rough landing on 12/14/21. Hatch watch started on 1/8/22 for the 1st egg and 1/11/22 for the 2nd egg. Hatched 1/12/22.
2022: 2 nests
Alex & Andria – 1st egg laid 11/19/22 2nd egg laid 11/23/22. First egg hatched 12/26/22. Second egg hatched 12/29/22.
