This is a live feed of wild barns owls named the Lorton Meadows Barn Owls brought to you by the Dorset Wildlife Trust, United Kingdom. The male has a white chest and face. He usually shows up after dark but has spent an entire day with the female.

Another cool day they said… lol now 85 degrees, so I boiled potatoes this morning and made hard boiled eggs, as soon as I finish typing I am making potato salad….. slept all night last night….yea…hope to get back on track again… I put in an order for Collagen from Costco as will not being going this week. I will go either Tuesday or Wednesday as those are the slow days.. I paid 2 more bills this morning on line, tomorrow morning I have wound care and in afternoon go and get my staples out. Gwen, good luck with Thursday’s appts. 🙏 Glad they caught/fined the idiot who thinks fireworks are an option. There won’t be any here unless it is literally raining; then they can’t be lit anyway. I know it’s all about fire prevention, just happy it’s so much better for the animals

Hope wound care and staples out goes well. With all the fires in your area – idiots who are doing fireworks. Where we live it is legal on the 3rd and 4th only. Not real dry here, so hopefully not a problem. Luckily the dogs aren’t bothered much by them.
I hate the big ones people set off and they are illegal but nothing is done about them…a retired cop said it would be difficult to find out where they are coming from..I do know who sets off some of the loud ones here.

Another 100-degree day 🔥 We’re still here, in our house; fire still raging. There is some improvement; it’s about 10% contained, not much, but more than any day since it started with the lightning strike. ⚡ “Fire Weather Warning” still up for our area. There was a checklist of items to gather posted by our local news on FB; i’m keeping it handy. I cannot thank you enough for all the prayers and good thoughts for our safety. Happy 1st day of July. The start of our 4 day heat wave. Thankful for having central A/C. I will call our lawn service guy “Charles” and tell him to skip mowing this week. Too hot for him and the grass is not growing in this heat anyway.
Will put together pasta salad for our lunch. Mini bow pasta, tuna, eggs, celery, green pepper and mayo. BLT’s for dinner.
