This is a live feed of wild barns owls named the Lorton Meadows Barn Owls brought to you by the Dorset Wildlife Trust, United Kingdom. The male has a white chest and face. He usually shows up after dark but has spent an entire day with the female.
Hit 100 degrees earlier; the thermostat’s working a treat, since i didn’t let the house get over-warm overnight, the temp’s stayed more even and went off/on like it’s supposed to. Checked in on Kitty, she’s feeling a bit better; not up to a gab-fest yet. She texted me a photo, her jaw looks like she went 5 rounds with Muhammad Ali 🏋 At least she didn’t end up in the ER. 🙄
Glad the thermostat is working and keeping the house a better temp. Glad Kitty didn’t end up in ER.
Poor sis…..sure hope she will have a speedy recovery.
A hot day yesterday. I know 100° gives A/C a good workout. We had several days of 100+ last week. Terrible heat!!! Your poor cats.

Good morning 💜 A cloudy day with much cooler temperature. High temperature here 76°. A nice relief from the heat wave. I will be balancing check book and doing other paperwork this morning. Received a letter yesterday from Independence Blue Cross saying they were sorry our monthly payment was not deducted from our checking account June 1st. 😧 Our insurance coverage continued. July 1st two payments will be deducted….June and July. IBX is sorry for any inconvenience. 🙄This is not the first time IBX has had issues with payments. Had a massage appt this morning. Talked to the therapist and he did a lighter massage. I also iced my back when I got home. Seems much better than the last time. Went grocery shopping afterwards. Then home to have lunch and start to work on paying bills. DH went to Longview, WA to meet up with DD at a public library because she was having computer problems to get her computer, give her a temporary replacement, and to copy files she needed on that one. Finally got the new thermostat installed. Nice man, but Lordy, he was having a bad morning. Got here at 8.30; supposed to be here at 9a; lucky I was up! Then discovered he forgot the small screwdriver he’d need. Had to go home to get it (I couldn’t find mine); then couldn’t find his phone and had to call his granddaughter to ping it; it was in the field he’d been working in earlier. Oh Lordy , you have a time with getting things done,, did the hotdogs get cooked,? When we had temp of 110 once I broke an egg on the sidewalk and yes it got cooked.. I then threw it away… lol

World Cup: USA playing Belgium in Seattle, WA tonight. Even if USA wins…..it will be scandalous with a USA players red card now removed. Politics and professional sports should not mix…IMO Not fair. 😠 I don’t think I am interested in watching now.
