Hello friends 💛 A mix of sun and clouds today with thunderstorms expected this afternoon. High temperature 87°. Temperatures will be creeping up each day….another heat wave starting Monday. Summer is here. 😉 Today is National French Friday Day. 🍟 June 10th….2nd Fry-Day…in July..😄 I love French Fries…..never met a FF I did not like. I did not eat FF often…..knowing fried foods are not healthy. However as I have told you….I make potato rings that are my healthy version of a FF. If you have apps at McDonald’s , Wendy’s they are offering free FF deals today. In the… Read more »

Same here about French fries! Regular fries, steak fries, curly fries, even tater tots! Yum!! No ketchup – just salt on them for me. When I was expecting, at one point I really indulged my desire for French fries because some other things turned my stomach, but not french fries! I try to limit myself as well – so hard when traveling as they are ubiquitous.

Seems they always have FF as a side dish……yes, difficult when traveling.

Hi Tea, i like French fries if they’re crispy; McDonalds used to make pretty good ones. The worst invention was a steak fry; awful things. Like you, i rarely eat them.

No air fryer…not enough counter space and too heavy to lift to store elsewhere.

Thanks for checking in with us..♥..after your long day yesterday. Hope you slept well.
I don’t think I would be in any rush to get new eye glasses with only a slight change. $$$$
Sorry the compression hose are so tight…..I hate compression hose….they do hurt. (((hugs)))
Try to keep cool as possible and stay home as much as possible too. A cool drink for you…..

Glad you could see so much better! That should take care of things with DMV. My husband had gotten compression socks of different compressions, and wore only them for a while, but now he feels they are too tight. Have to be careful both ways with diabetes.

Oh dear, sorry about the compression socks; they’re so uncomfortable. Great news about the vision test. Hope you got some sleep {{HUGS}}

I would wait on the glasses if only a slight change. I’ve never worn compression socks, doesn’t sound fun…

Worked on some payroll tax and excise tax clients today. Had my MRI. I went to the wrong building, and then the building it was in had very few unfilled parking spots so I had to walk quite a ways, but I made it. It went OK – meet with the doctor next week. Did a load of laundry, folded another load. Younger doggie always wants attention. Temps today 50 to 78. Sunny.

Good Night all! Love & Hugs & Prayers!!

A little cooler today; only 95, those 5 degrees make a big difference … NOT 🙄 Hoping for more rain, no such luck; just hot. Cody turned 44 yesterday; he didn’t seem over-enthused. 😄
** NBC is not negotiating with DirecTV; it’d probably be less $$$ if i go with a $20 antenna; not to mention none of the broadcasting companies can hold me hostage over any subsequent non-contract nonsense. 😠

Eventually Direct TV will come around, we had that problem with them when we had Direct TV, we then went with the Dish past 5 yrs..
The local cable company we had 25 yrs ago did the same thing..they are holding out for more money.. Good Luck Pam💕

Sure hope the temperatures will go down for you. It is summer and our temperatures will be in the mid 90’s again next week. Keep cool as possible. (ice cream will help) 🍦
Seems many providers are having contract issues with popular networks….NBC, ABC, etc. Greed is all it is….we pay $355 a month for our cable…..3 TV’s with most options….landline phone, and internet. But, DH says we are stay a home people and that is our entertainment. Still….so expensive Comcast/Infinity.
Take care in the heat and pray the wildfires are more contained. 🙏

So very sad about that little girl. 😭 They were even trying to get the kids into the house when the sudden storm hit and it was not soon enough. No one did anything wrong. Very sad. 💔
