This is a live feed of wild barns owls named the Lorton Meadows Barn Owls brought to you by the Dorset Wildlife Trust, United Kingdom. The male has a white chest and face. He usually shows up after dark but has spent an entire day with the female.
Church this AM, stop at Home Depot on the way home. Helped DH with moving some of my boxes of tax returns from this season into storage. Finished up the tax return for DB’s estate and other DB’s personal for 2025. Filed the estate one (cause I sign that) and will mail out DB’s for signature tomorrow. Looked over some non-profit documents for a client. Started a load of laundry (sheets), but kept forgetting to move it to the next stage. Did a bit of this and that also. Good morning. 💗 Mostly sunny today with a high of 85° Another heat wave is coming our way mid week. Philadelphia had a “microburst” storm yesterday afternoon. Flooding and damage to many roads and homes. (A microburst storm is a small but extremely intense column of sinking air within a thunderstorm that hits the ground and spreads outward, producing damaging straight-line winds.) Slept in a bit DH brought me breakfast from Starbucks – White Chocolate Peppermint Mocha Latte and Spinach Feta Egg wrap. Then after doing a bit of this and that, we went to a restaurant on the port boardwalk of Olympia for lunch, though we both actually had brunch. I had berry crepes with mascarpone and melon slices. We had a great view of the boardwalk and the bots in the harbor. Today was the Dragon Boat festival and races, so there were lots of people there. Happy belated Anniversary… sorry I haven’t been on as we had company from AZ , not staying overnight with us as they had gotten a motel in Rancho Bernardo. At the Inn.. as it was a surprise.. they go home Monday and came on Thursday eve.. We are spending the weekend visiting and out to eat dinners . I fixed lunches and tomorrow night will be BBQing.. About 10 degrees cooler than it has been; only got to 90. Watched World Cup; England vs Norway; good game; well matched. I had no skin in this game so it was easy to be happy for the winner. Switzerland vs Argentina’s been another good game.
Talked to Kitty, 1x since getting 3 teeth pulled and the bone grafting done on Monday. She’s still eating mashed potatoes, bananas and ice cream.

Went to the music tonight…R and B, soul, Motown, lots of brass, which I love! They were good and fun. DH had to go to his dad’s early, around 5, no caregiver…his dad woke him up around 5 a.m., way too early! He’s been doing that and in dementia mode at that time. I texted him during the music but no answer..either busy with his dad or maybe he fell asleep. The Cubs just won, yay! Going to take the dogs out soon and then settle in…
Lynn, that sounds like my kind of music session 💗 i’m sorry about your FIL with the dementia 🙏 And it’s gotta be so difficult when there’s no caregiver for the shift 😔
