This is a live feed of wild barns owls named the Lorton Meadows Barn Owls brought to you by the Dorset Wildlife Trust, United Kingdom. The male has a white chest and face. He usually shows up after dark but has spent an entire day with the female.
Good morning….chance of rain today, we’ll see. DH will be at his dad’s at least part of the day, and working from there..one caregiver quit, another will be fired soon. We do have a new one, I”m not sure how many hours or when she wants to work. I might try on some clothes if I get motivated, maybe a few will be donated. Hope your day goes well 😊
Sorry about the caregiver problems. One quit ? and another will be fired ? I hope the new caregiver will work out. It must be so difficult to find good help. Where to you find caregivers? Must be very stressful situation. (((hugs)))
yes, the one who quit was ok, just unreliable sometimes..she got mad at the one who kind of put herself in charge and quit…the one about to get fired isn’t a good one..it’s the caregivers who find other caregivers..I do often see people wanting to find caregiver jobs online, we have a local fb page. for me, I’m not happy that the one got on the other’s case about not coming in the other day…at least she was there sometimes and pretty good when she was there..the other does need to go. But losing two makes it difficult.
Hard to get good caregivers. My friend uses some long time friends and contacts of hers, and some they recommend as well as Visiting Angels to fill in gaps. It is much more expensive, but she could not fill all the hours with her friends.
also one kind of took over as the leader and some think she is too bossy, they don’t like it and don’t always get along with her..she’s a really good caregiver, though..really don’t want her to run off the ones that are “just ok” to “good”, we need them

Not sure how to start this … Rick won’t be coming home anytime soon. Physically, he’s doing much better, mentally, not so much. It was good Chuck stayed in the room with him last night; made Chuck realize what we’d be up against — he was up all night. Either of us would have to be up around the clock. Rick’s PT doctor is calling in a neurological doctor to read CT scans that were run this morning; PT/Doc thinks the CT is showing a series of mini-strokes. & wants to be sure. Thank you Tea ♥ Rick’ll probably stay in Pueblo for now. Chuck realized we would be on 12-hour shifts if Rick came home at this point in time. He can walk pretty well, but his mind isn’t where it should be & we would be unable to leave him alone. I do hope Pioneer can take him; it’s just right down the street and we can visit every day.

Keeping all in prayers with those storms,, been through some when growing up in Ohio.. out here in CA it has been earthquakes I don’t like either! DGS came Monday eve after his schooling, so sweet texts me to say when he will be here, we visited for a couple hours and went to bed as had to leave for work at 5:30 am…. We were in the basement for awhile, back up now..was a bit scary. DH just left for his dad’s, no caregiver. Not sure what i’m doing now.

Got a lot done being on my own, didn’t realize how much i missed being/doing things by myself at my own pace. I lived alone for a good portion of my life & really enjoyed yesterday/this morning. Chuck is sometimes too helpful then says i don’t get enough exercise. Well duh! Today is trash day and he wanted to take it out before he left yesterday.
