This is a live feed of wild barns owls named the Lorton Meadows Barn Owls brought to you by the Dorset Wildlife Trust, United Kingdom. The male has a white chest and face. He usually shows up after dark but has spent an entire day with the female.
Good afternoon , sunny. and 89 windy , could hit 90 yet , said it would be heating up again. Last evening I water back yard will do back part tonight,, used the leaf blower on patio and walk side of garage,, put clean water in birdbath, found my hummingbird feeder end of patio leaking..so have to figure out how to fix it or just buy a new one. Hello…it’s been so rainy and grey here…our grass is so long! Last night I asked and one of the caregivers went to FIL’s from 9-10:30 so we could go to an awesome Eagles tribute band concert…the original Eagles tribute band..love it, they were so good. It was kind of weird being out so late, lol..with the schedule we’ve had for over a couple years now. Hi Gwen…we probably need 2 caregivers but one would be good if they can cover for others and take the hours of the one who quit and another who might be leaving. love the Eagles too and they were VERY good. some are saying the best band we’ve ever had here and we’ve had lots!! of good ones over the years.
Glad things seem to be OK there weather wise. Nice that someone could cover so you could got to the concert.
Late morning — UGH, hate when i do that. Fed/watered the ferals. Put together 2 weeks worth of vitamin/meds boxes. Started a load of laundry, Loaded the trunk with all the recyclables; then went to recycle only to find the hall had already been converted to a Bingo Parlor for the ArkValley Fair that starts Weds. 🎪✨🎢🎡🎢 Had to unload said trunk in order to fit Sam/s/Kroger orders when i go to Pueblo on Tues. 🙄 By this time it’s after 10a and i still haven’t had a sip, let alone a full cup, of coffee and breakfast didn’t happen… Read more »
Frustrating to load up the car and have to unload. We had to do that a few times with items at DB’s. Good exercise I guess. 🙄

Hi Gwen! It was just for the Fair; Senior day is Weds when they serve b-fast at 6.45a! Sounds awful to me, but i’m not, nor have ever been, a farmer 🙄 By 7a, their day’s half over already 😄

Good Saturday morning friends 💛 Average summer day here…..sunny with high temperature 86°. Walmart order delivery yesterday is all put away. One of the delivery guys is leaving…..Darren. Such a nice young man. I will miss him. Just a few more tournaments left in PGA golf.⛳ Hoping one of my favorites…..Victor Hovland will win this week. so far okay……
We don’t do hot dogs often. More likely Italian Sausage or Bratwurst or Kielbasa with either sauerkraut or onions and peppers. Of course, DH’s family is of Swiss-German descent, so that explains some of that. I actually had never had any of those, only hot dogs, as a child.
I get Chicago dogs once in awhile at an event or at a newer, small cafe. well, not really a cafe, not sure what to call it..it’s knows as a Mexican food place but they do have hot dogs, last time I got a chili dog.

Worked on paying more b9ills today and finished gett8ing receipts an checkbo0oks in order after trip. Ran errands with DH – bank, post office, Home Depot, library, donation location, grocery store, gas station, etc. The driveway still looks really nice! It is kind of funny. DBIL has a Kawaski mule (which is an off road vehicle. He used it to get to his mailbox and to put out the trash at his old house because it was way down a private drive. Howdy-do Lovely Owl People 🦉🦉 No serious update about Rick; while Kitty was there yesterday, he said he was actually hungry, so we have one good sign. 🤗 Landon/Chelsea’s fell off his bike yesterday afternoon, poking a large hole in his knee; after which they spent a few hours in ER; just in time for his oral surgery scheduled for today. Surgery went well & he’s in recovery. Thankfully Christian wasn’t at the firehouse and was able to stay with the younger kids. We’re all feeling as though we got caught in a movie; “Everything Everywhere All at Once”. 🙄… Read more »
One more thing, when i talked to Rick’s nurse today, he said Rick was much calmer than he has been the last few days. I think they put him on the wrong meds for his schizophrenia. Rehab had the correct info & obviously didn’t advise the hospital properly. This is not on the ICU folks, their focus is the stroke/brain bleed. Communication between rehab and the hospital could use some work. 😠
I agree the communication can use some work, Same thing happened to our neighbors father the other day… , hospital and rehab didn’t communicate… uggh
We had a similar problem with my MIL in the hospital. She was in there a number of times, and her medication was changed by her PCP in between visits. I had a printout of her meds ready each time, but sometimes they just saw that she was already in their records and did not update her meds. I know the list looked similar, but the details matter. You really have to advocate for yourself everywhere.
OMGoodness, that poor woman; that must’ve been just awful for her and family having to deal.

Poor London, I feel for him…when rains it pours as the saying goes, glad he is through the surgery and doing well.
