This is a live feed of wild barns owls named the Lorton Meadows Barn Owls brought to you by the Dorset Wildlife Trust, United Kingdom. The male has a white chest and face. He usually shows up after dark but has spent an entire day with the female.
Good late morning…last night we went to the farm store, pet supply store…got pet stuff, coffee, etc…rained last night and most of this morning..stopped for now but more to come tonight and tomorrow. Also we went to Cracker Barrel and I got breakfast..had leftovers this morning.
Breakfast for dinner! Yum! And then for breakfast again!

Good morning 💛 A bright sunny day with a high temperature of 87°. Not bad for mid summer. Yesterday afternoon I found myself in the dentist chair…….UGH!!! I had a chip in my front tooth. 😨 and giving me pain. I was so anxious as I hate going to dentist. 😩 Called our new dentist (our old one retired) and got me right in as “emergency visit”. going to the dentist is on the top of the list of things I hate, sorry you have to wait for a week to get in and for the cost yikes!
I used to love going but sometimes have more problems now..love my dentist and hygienist though and chatting with them. Also there are stores and restaurants nearby that I like to go to afterwards.

We loved our old dentist…..took care of us and our children. The new dentists are a different story…..so expensive $$$

Good idea. Can you use ambesol or wax or something like that for the pain? Tooth pain is awful.

Ouch! Too bad they couldn’t fix it before going on vacation. You could try another dentist, but that has it’s own issues. I like going to the dentist mostly because we are friends with the hygienist. It is time to catch up. Plus she listens to me – as far as what works and what doesn’t. I have a small mouth and for years hygienists would get mad at me while trying to get x-rays because of my gag reflex. Procedures have gotten better and easier for me to handle, but I also appreciate a hygienist who doesn’t just bawl… Read more »

Good early morning 2:10 am.. We had it cooler Thursday only 90 and overcast, but humid.. (62%). I went to my Dermatologist for a check on my head.. she said it looks really good , only a tiny area not covered with new skin,, so I go back in a month..I asked about the color ( don’t like the white) She said if I put a bandaid on it and color around it it would be fine.. so I discussed it with Donna and she said we will try it next Thursday,… and then she can layer cut my hair..… Read more »

Yes I did and slept till 8 this morning
Slept in a bit, but that can be hard when trying to adjust to a new time zone. Then sorted through mail (E and snail), unpacked a bunch of things, got all my receipts from the trip and before sorted, began paying bills, and answered a few quick client questions that came up while I was away. We had our driveway resealed, and it looks nice! No driving on it until Saturday, so the cars are parked out on the road. Even to walk to our mailbox we have to take a bit of a winding way. Adjusting to the time change is difficult, evey year we flew or drove back to Ohio & PA by the time we got used to,it was time to return and then had start all over again. Driving wasn’t as bad as flying.. nice to have the driveway redone… good that the In Laws are gone, will be nice when you can start using it..💕
Chuck’s going to grill hot dogs and asked me if i wanted one. “Sure, hey I’ve got some turkey dogs in the freezer.” The look on his face; as though I’d sprouted a second head right in front of him. 😂 I think he went to the little local market to get ‘real’ ones, as in beef.

We use a lot of turkey items…but splurge when it comes to hot dogs.
UPDATE on Rick: CT showed a slow brain bleed, common in stroke patients. He’s been moved to ICU at Parkview, hospital attached to the rehab facility. Better than moving him to Memorial/Colo Spgs where they probably would’ve had to drill a hole in his head. 😧 He won’t be moving here anytime soon.
Every time the phone rings, my heart starts pounding and my stomach feels like it does when going down the biggest drop on a roller coaster.
Sorry, I know this is depressing, i’ll going to stop talking about it for awhile.

Yesterday I enjoyed a tall glass of iced coffee with lunch. It was so refreshing.
