This morning I had my annual mammogram. Home to call the eye doctor to pay a bill, and the pharmacy to refill a prescription. Put chili to cook in the crockpot. Then off to my friend/client for budgeting meeting. She is feeling less mentally with it, and still hopes to get a new shunt put in sometime in January. We arranged for more funds to get her caregivers for more hours to cover the afternoons. Also helped her measure her bedroom wall for a rail to help her move along the side of the bed easier. Is 71/53 our temp now to be 8° colder tomorrow, actually Wednesday:’ I have my room care appointment in the morning and tomorrow I have to run a couple errands then we are going to our friends for two hours for New Year’s Eve as he’s just getting over shoulder replacement and I really did not want to be out, but they insisted that we come over for a couple hours. I had to get off as I might have lost my chat that happened to me twice last night and I just gave up DD and the family are all in Tahoe at the condo DD has been going red riding with great granddaughter who loves it. She went five times and then said I’m done my grandson made a. Hi Gwen ♥ I hope you will have some good answers in the New Year with your ankle healing issues. The medical professionals will be back to help us about January 5th. We are left out in the cold until then.🙄Only place to go is the ER and forget that…..they are short staffed too. So sad for those of us who need care. We like Costco’s Kirkland Signature Mastercarve Half Ham. It is good and just the right amount for us for a holiday or even for a regular meal. We can make meals out of it for about 3-5 days. The larger spiral sliced hams lasts forever when you are only two people.
I see we have snowflakes coming down over our posts.

Chuck made fried cod; it was okay, not Culver’s, but okay. He got a big lemon and i was able to drown the fish in it. I’m not complaining, just statin’ a fact. Otherwise, a nice quiet day.

Hello friends ♥ Very cold and very windy here. Last night was trash night. Our recycle can blew over and DH had to go all over the neighbors yards to retrieve papers..it is windy and cold. His back is so sore from all the bending. I almost cried watching him out the window picking up all those papers.😭 I know…..we should have put the recycle can out another time.🙄…we have done that before when it was windy. Oh dear! So sorry to hear that. Hope he recovers quickly. It is difficult to know how and when to put out the cans when the weather is bad. But who expect the recycle bin to blow over?
DH’s back is feeling much better. He will continue to rest today.
The can had lots in it and he thought it was too heavy to blow over. We had gusts over 60 mph late last night. Early the winds were not so bad.
