This is a live feed of wild barns owls named the Lorton Meadows Barn Owls brought to you by the Dorset Wildlife Trust, United Kingdom. The male has a white chest and face. He usually shows up after dark but has spent an entire day with the female.
Happy New Year. We had rain last night.but not heavy enough to stop people setting off fireworks, it sounded like 4th of July. There’s poor animals.. since our house is fully insulated and shut up we didn’t hear alot of them. I opened the door and oh my such loud bombs, oh to live in the country again.. Happy New Year…not much time but a quick post…last night I wanted to see the ball drop…fell asleep before 11 and woke up at 11:06, bummer…I’m tired and busy with petsitting. When I’m home I have to take care of my pets and the house. We have a meal today with relatives later. I’ve been reading the chat but not much time to chat myself…have a good day with good food, treats, etc…

Happy New Year’s day dear friends. ♥ Our township had a fireworks display at 8pm last night. All was quiet the rest of the evening. Every since I can remember…..and that was a long time ago….lol…I find the song “Auld Lang Syne” very depressing.😢 It is the music…not the words I find depressing. I have never been fond of Auld Lang Syne, or understood its appeal. It has never been part of any of our family traditions. Our church sings a new worship song to the tune of Auld Lang Syne written by Dustin Kensrue in 2012.

Went and picked up a prescription, l did some laundry, and worked on dividing all my passwords in my password wallet into sensitive ones (like financial or tax) and non-sensitive (like this site). This is part of my new computer set-up, to separate even more my “web-surfing” and email from sensitive information in case of a breach. Then we watched “Wild Robot” which was cute. Last sunrise of 2025 12.31.25 was incredible! Look at Mt. Rainier in it’s majestic glory 🤣🤣!!! Fog so thick you could barely see anything in front of yourself.
