This is a live feed of wild barns owls named the Lorton Meadows Barn Owls brought to you by the Dorset Wildlife Trust, United Kingdom. The male has a white chest and face. He usually shows up after dark but has spent an entire day with the female.
Good afternoon, a little sun with a high of 62 this morning, now cloudy and to be rain showers until 6 pm.. low be 53 tonight.. it is chilly for us… lol Watching the Charger / Broncos game, same with us Tea only using other players resting the main football players. So not sure how it is going to end…lol. Didn’t do much today, cleaned kitchen and mopped the floor..it has been in turmoil last few days.. The EAGLES play Washington Commanders this afternoon.🏈 Most of the EAGLES second string players will be playing. Coach giving main players a rest for the playoffs. We will see how that goes. Perhaps the second string players will shine….especially the quarterback Tanner McKee. Should be an interesting game.
Made tuna fish salad for our lunch. Made a “to do list”….like cleaning out some drawers.

Today I uploaded my 2023, 2024, and 2025 tax software onto my new computer configuration. All seems to have gone well. Yay!! 😀👌👍👏 We have been anticipating this and hoping it would go smoothly, but one can never be sure. Then I also uploaded QuickBooks which I use for several of my clients. That went well also, though the previous data was hiding in a directory I did not expect it to be in. I watched Homestead Rescue last night that I had taped..didn.t watch much TV as I was reading. reading’’’ Have a series of Amish books to read. has my hometown in it . Know the names of stores, different towns… and Amish way of life’’

We had 69/54 today.. cloudy and some sun, really could not decide what to do. I did a load of laundry, afte DH checked out the swamp pump to make sure it was working properly. Didn’t see the game, but I heard the Seahawks won! Now they are are in the NFC playoffs (I think)
Hi Chris, the Seahawks are the #1 seed in the NFC; if Denver wins today, the Broncos will be #1 in the AFC. Should be a fun post-season. 🏈
Getting dizzy is very scary indeed. Glad the dizzy spell left you fairly quickly. My DH gets those spells and he has a walker to use at those times…to prevent falling.

Gave myself a nice break from ‘over-fooding’ yesterday, had yogurt and crackers for lunch, then later some Dots pretzels to get the meds down. So when Chuck said he’d cook today, i was happy; mashed potatoes with boiled cabbage and a meatloaf thing; it was very good. 😋 Nice to have the normal Hallmark channel back; Murder She Wrote along with other regular mysteries.
I know you are enjoying your new cable set up.
Chuck gave me an idea about boiling cabbage…..I may toss it in with bow noodles and olive oil for a dinner.

Good morning friends ♥ Thankful for no snow squalls last night. ❄ Squalls leave a small amount of snow, but it turns to solid ice with temperatures below freezing all day. It must be removed quickly. Last December was our coldest month in 15 years.😮Our high temperature today will be 31°. Warmer weather end of next week.
