I have days like this ↓↓
Me to.lol😘
Glad to say I never need coffee, lol !
Good morning
Yesterday met Kim for lunch at Ole’. I oved to Tucson with her. It had been a year since we saw each other last when the two girls we used to work with came out to visit.
Rick planted the garden. He had to buy another soaker hose, one wasnt enough,.
Then at 5:00 we went to Mike and Jamie’s for a get together in their back yard. His two step sisters were there and brother and a couple friends. They picked up Mexican food and Jamie made a cheese cake.
Hi Ardy,
You sure had a busy day. I like outside parties, so much more room for everyone to move around and it looks like they had plenty of yummy food.💖
It is fun to get together with an old friend for a luncheon out.😘
It was busy for me.
Good Morning! Cloudy and 69 with heavy rain expected mid morning. Morning temps in the upper 60s will fall sharply to the upper 40s by 1:00 PM with winds NW 15 to 25 mph. The low tonight is expected to be around 34 🥶 I still feel awful with a very sore throat, nasal congestion and mild body aches but no fever. I’m thinking I have a cold 🤧 rather than allergies. After I finish eating breakfast I plan to drink some airborne and gargle with warm salt water before I go back to bed. Matcha was really cute on… Read more »
Hi Kathy
Sorry you are going to have cooler temps and winds.
I hope you feel better soon.
Very elegant pose I must say.😘
Hi Kathy,
I am so sorry you are still sick. It sounds like a cold with the sore throat and body aches. They are so miserable and worse they hang on for awhile usually. I hope the airborne and warm salt water gargle helps you.
Matcha looks like a model posing.💕
Good morning, Very muggy outside, 68 going up to 76. Rain and high winds starting mid-morning bringing in cooler weather. Yesterday was hot, humid and the pollen is unreal. Denny washed the van Tuesday and yesterday it was all yellow again. Hoping this rain and wind today will help push the pollen off the trees. Denny has been saying he would like to try ‘Freddy’s’ restaurant which is a chain restaurant like McDonalds, which recently opened near us. Most of the hamburger chain restaurants do not agree with me and I would rather cook a hamburger at home but I… Read more »
Hi Jenn
Do you have a garage to park your vehicle in?
We ate at Freddy’s years ago and I thought it was good and always wanted to go back but its not in our part of town.
Oh my the date is 2013!!!
Sorry your food wasnt fresh.
I think it depends on the people working in the restaurants is how I see it. The guy waiting on us looked like he was falling asleep, he spoke in a whisper and looked bored and no smile. I asked for no onion and Denny asked for onion and I had a single and Denny a double. I got onions and Denny did not so I quickly gave him mine. Burgers were hot but fries yucky. We have a garage but it is a ‘short’ garage and also we have the refrig. on the back wall so could never get… Read more »
Yes I do believe it is the help and the people cooking. We could go back again and have terrible food, you never know.
Nothing worse than cold fries!!!!
I have the carport which is open on one side and where you drive in so it’s hard to keep a car clean, I hate that part.
that looks good, I like burgers like that.
It was good!!!
Good morning. Beryl, Jenn, Ardyth, Kathy, Lynn, Pam. There is a saying here of March in like a lamb out like a lion. If it keeps up like today that will be very true. A Yellow warning out today for various parts of the country of high winds gusting in excess of 60 MPH. Rain at times will be mixed in as well. Back from the paper purchase, traffic a bit chaotic this morning with an Ambulance all the lights flashing trying to drive through town. No room for traffic to pull one side other than onto the pavement.🙄. Time… Read more »
Good morning Ice,
We are having similar weather today, rain and very high winds are expected.
We always had that saying in Maine about March.🙂
Good idea to be watching the weather from indoors, I think I will be doing the same.
Hi Jenn.
Really got the trees swaying good job they are not in full leaf yet.😀😘
I do love seeing the new leaves coming out on the trees, ours are barely showing one day and look so much bigger the next day. Nature is lovely isn’t it?😊
You bet it is😮
Hi Ice
We have windy conditions today too but not as high as yours.
Gusting at 45mph now good job the trees are not in full leaf yet.😘
Good Morning Ice,
I hope you dont get the strong winds!!!
Hi Ardy.
They are here, really letting rip today where I am its gusting at 45mph at the moment but it is dry.😘
Overslept today — UGH. Was planning to refresh my hair, but that wasn’t going to happen 🙄 Temps plummeted by over 40 degrees from the last several days; guess winter’s back; my area is on Fire Watch; still no wet stuff 😔 Farmers had to turn on irrigation, this is about 2 weeks earlier than normal 😟 The NHL/Colorado Avalanche gave tickets to the fire station nephew Christian works out of; so he/Chelsea and the kids all went to the game last night. We didn’t win, but the game was very exciting and they got to really boo the refs! 😄 Landon’s already… Read more »
Hi Pam,
Fun family picture of your family at the NHL Hockey game.💕
Sorry your retreating back into winter weather. 😪
Thanks Jenn, it’ll be 75 again tomo 😏 😄
😏
Great family picture Pam. what a happy group they are.😘
Hi Pam
Love the family pic. I remember when you posted baby pics of these kids 😊
Last evening Lauren shared the attached Hummingbird Spring Migration map of reported spotting of Ruby-throated Hummingbirds (the only species that reside and breed in our area). My plan is to try and hang my feeders out around March 20 in advance of the average arrival date for Charlotte. I’m super excited about seeing my favorite ‘jewels of the garden’ once they arrive 🥰
Oh Boy! You always get some great photos.
Hi Kathy,
Hard to believe it’s time for the hummingbirds. 😀
I have been noticing those maps, it will be May for Maine to get them. I have 2 feeders I hope to remember to bring this summer.
