A wet morning but the sun is out now for a while before some more rain this afternoon.
The first rain we have had for a few weeks.
Top temp today 52F cooling down from that late evening down to 40F overnight.
Next week is still looking like a very cool and wet week.
Garage was very busy with cars queueing up for fuel prices now very high.

Probably as often as me…..every couple months or more for me…..lol

I only do about 150 miles a month so I top up about every 2 months.

Watched the splashdown of Artemis II on CNN; they had several astronauts as well as Neil deGrasse Tyson as guests. It was a fascinating 2-3 hours. Especially the helicopter passenger pick-up from the capsule front porch. I have a chat friend from San Diego who told me Navy helicopters did a practice run yesterday. Yesterday I had a great shopping time at Lowe’s. After I picked my order of 2 new hanging planters I went into the garden center for ideas of what to plant in them. I lucked up on a sale of pre-planted pots that you just drop into whatever container you’re using. I love this colorful combo of Calipetite Calibrachoa I purchased 💜💛 🩷

You don’t remove them from the pot they came in. You just put the pot directly into the hanging plant pot or other planter of choice.
Good morning, Kyeron was supposed to come at 10:00 yesterday morning to look at my albums. Rick got them down from the shelf in the shed and I started going through them and taking pictures of them…..took a few at a time from the bench over to the dryer on the patio and then put them on the mat to take pictures and that up and down was very hard on my back. I met him on FB, he bought my AZ t-shirts. I dont know if he has much interest in my albums or not, it was hi that asked me if i had any to sell. If he buys some I will be stuck with the rest just in the box again.
My fist album was Chubby Checker…lots of BEATLES…I have a variety of bands

People have yard sales but usually arent willing to pay much for things at yard sales. I dont want to advertise them, tooo much work.

48 degrees going up to 76 with sun all day.
A busy day yesterday, after showering I tackled a big pile of ironing. Worked on packing books and personal items.
I made those peanut butter chocolate squares again. I had a last pack of graham crackers and a half bag of the chocolate bits left so I thought it only sensible to make them. 😀
I made Salisbury steak ( hamburgers in gravy ) and a big pot of mashed potatoes. Have left over potato for tonight might make potato patties.

What’s new with Joe? Are they still planning on moving?
Yes, Joe and Lynn still planning on moving. He wants at least 5 acres so he can give a plot to each of his daughters. he likes the idea of a family compound. If the daughters marry and divorce they will lose their ownership. He has put a lot of thought over time about this. It seems right now both daughters who now live down here, want to do this. He has a son in Maine who does not want to move from Mass. he likes it better there and loves his job.
We chatted with Joe and Lynn a couple evenings ago. We were walking past the side of their house ( one of the walking paths here is located by his house ) and she has lots of little pots of herbs growing and we talked about the compost she used, mostly natural and we had a nice chat.
I am glad you had a nice chat with her/them.

Good morning. Beryl, Jenn, Ardyth, Kathy, Lynn, Pam. A cool night and cloudy all day top temp 54F. The next 10 day forecast is showing that we will be in the 50F range for that time with some night frosts thrown in for good measure. Summer sunshine is on hold once again. 🙄 .. There is some wet weather in there as well. Central heating boiler is still firing up in the morning. Sunny and a very warm 85; started out at 28 this a.m. 🌞 Car title arrived today 🚗 Been having some issues with regular milk and even using Lactaid tablets, it was not that great. So had a bowl of raisin bran with Almond Breeze, cold turkey/no Lactaid tablets; felt pretty decent rest of the day. I would really rather not take any more tablets/meds to get thru the darn day; just because i want a bowl of cereal. 😏 And this milk is good; lasts a lot longer than regular dairy which it should… Read more »

Lauren has to use lactose-free milk. I only use milk in baking recipes or mashed potatoes. So far I haven’t noticed any issues with regular milk.
